Tomorrow there is the twice-yearly closure of roads due to a religious procession. The weekly email from TfL mentions it, but there appears to be nothing on the TfL website . I also wonder how well they've been publicised on bus stops this year? At least 120 drivers are now more likely to be aware that the 105 covers Lady Margaret Road and gets passengers the closest to Southall town centre from Ruislip Road (saw an argument about this lack of information last year, and many bus stops had no information).

Effra Road, Brixton was closed yesterday afternoon due to a road traffic accident, relevant buses diverted via Brixton Hill, Christchurch Road and Tulse Hill. Before the crack of dawn today Brixton Road was closed in the town centre area due to an RTA, relevant buses diverted via Camberwell and Herne Hill. That closure was in conjunction with the closure of Clapham High Street around the same time during the early hours.
Basically it was diversion galore over the last 24 hours in the area, although the only factor I witnessed out of it all was seeing the 3 and 37 diverted up Brixton Hill yesterday afternoon.

Indeed, I mentioned the one on Effra Road in the Turns & Obs having seen a mate of mine posted a status on Facebook about a RTA on Effra Road with a police tent erected - apparently it involved a motorcyclist who later sadly died.

Slight adjustment to the above - the 37 is running via the full length of Coldharbour Lane & Denmark Hill rather than Herne Hill Road & Red Post Hill.

When I was working for them a couple of years ago, they stated they didn’t have enough funds for the fireworks event there (hence why it’s not happened in the past two years). Those diversions seem a bit excessive. I’m pretty much left with no bus service. I did spot a few diversion signs around the main Herne Hill Junction, however it was only for the routes that usually use the slip road from Norwood Road to Dulwich Road. It only indicated the slip Road would be closed.

The diversion signs are plastered everywhere but Herne Hill it seems lol - spotted them in Brixton, Tulse Hill & Camberwell today. I did see the one about the slip road which seems to suggest it’s closed all weekend as it said 3rd-5th November.

The diversions are from 1830-2115 not really disruptive (i live near Trinity Rise) After the Lambeth Show there was a RTA so perhaps "damage limitation" is a better option

241 /325 have been on diversion since last night because of a major fire in Canning Town Recreational Ground
I assume is doing the rather tedious double run to Canning Town which IMO would be easier to just miss New Barn Street (Towards Plaistow) and run full length of Prince Regent.
Edit that reading TfL website common sense being used on this occasion and buses running as I suggested above.
