OK I didn't know both were up for sale (I wish someone had said that to start with!). I was sceptical about DE5 because I had seen it only three weeks ago, still in TfL red and very much still in passenger service.

I even has its original GA London moquette. That's what I like about ex London buses and it makes things a little bit easier to identify

Ex Metroline VW1561 seen at Dublin Airport still blinded for route 607 at the rear! Also saw one of the former Quality Line X26 Citaro’s now with Clayton Hotels, don’t know which one it was but it was registered 12-D-52468. Ex Metrobus WVL232 was also seen on training duties for Go-Ahead Ireland

I have just seen TP450 passing through Archway still has the Metroline logo i am not sure if its still with them or somone else it has private party on the blind It left Metroline 4 years ago, but was never repainted by its new owners. Can't remember who owns it now but it often appears on private hires and the occasional rail replacement. If you look closely you'll see that the Metroline logos have been removed - but the adhesive that remains when the logo was stripped off has accumulated so much dirt that it looks like the logo is still there

Certainly didn't expect to see a double decker in Downe of all places at midday this afternoon...and of all buses it was ex Metrobus WVL212 returning close to its old haunts! It is now with DoubleDeckerBusHire, a resurrection of Coach Hire Executive (HireYourTransport which was shut down last year) and it is now registered 294CLT. God knows how that made it into Downe in one piece, especially with loads of low trees on Downe Road and the roads being so narrow!

I saw WVL44 last week passing through Wimbledon Chase that's with Double Decker bus Hire
