Apologies if this has been mentioned somewhere but I think ex DDL 15 has seen better days! Did something in particular happen to it or was this just age? Are there other similar ex DDL buses that are also in the scrap heap as the comment underneath states? www.flickr.com/photos/busboy99/10779781056/

I've only ever seen out in this guise once but as of this years LOTS fleetbook, it's still there. I believe Arriva The Shires has a few in the provinces and Network Harlow/Colchester may still have some too.

I remember riding those going to school when they were brand new. They were rare in that they had full length Invertec Contex lighting running along both sides of the roof unlike most other Dart Pointers which made do with two fluorescent tubes on either side. I notice that Arriva spec their Darts like this. GAL and the majority of other operators specify just a single strip down the middle.

Argh! I wish I had a storage unit to park this in. I would rescue it from the scrapheap immediately. Off to buy a lottery ticket in the vague hope I win enough to fulfill my dream

I wouldn't want to see DDL16 scrapped, if it is not too late already. (One of) My favourite bus(es) when it was at TC in 2009.
On the subject of DDL6, don't expect it out on the road, apparently its MOT expired in 2010!

17060 has now moved to Kettering, still has the original brake lights & indicators at the back, appears something has been done to the engine as the whine is not so pronounced as other Tridents.Think this bus was originally at Leyton but I stand to be corrected.

Ex London General WVL125 (LX53AZU) is now with Centaur Travel, painted in all-white and with a large UEL logo on the side. It is the dedicated bus for the new shuttle service between UEL's Docklands Campus and the Stratford (main) Campus, running Mon-Fri between ~ 0800-1800 (not 1700) every 60-75 minutes, so only one bus is required. towerman and Connor, they had VA293.
