I wouldn't be shocked to see help from Plymouth Citybus and/or First D&C. Might even need abit of help from Ensign, as I'm sure they have a huge surplus of vehicles atm. Seemed to notice a large overspill around Grays/Tilbury. Also noticed the ex-153 Darts still parked up just outside Lakeside. Plenty of buses floating around that they could utilise.
All I will say is though, WG seem to be a fantastic firm who I have seen grow and grow from my regular trips down to Devon. Given a few years, they could quite easily be a force to First and even GAG. This is going to be a huge set back but I'm sure they'll bounce right back in the very near future.

The rest of the heritage fleet survived, happily. WG had two VRs, a former Southdown and a former Western National vehicle, and it's the Southdown bus that's gone.
