The next route for it is the 313 due in Service this week Photo from Peter Horrex on Flickr of it at Enfield Garage linkNice! The 313 was probably chosen as it has several 'thrashy' sections, along the country lanes to Potters Bar, finally giving it the chance to stretch it's legs!

I cannot see Arriva ordering any though Why do you say that? They did buy 12m Citaros for Kent and the Midlands. I know they favour VDL but not to the exclusion of everything else.

Indeed, though Arriva also have 12m Citaros dating from 2006 in their fleet - of course, it remains to be seen if they plump for any for London. It would nice if they did lol.

Ahhh, it was you I saw. Got off at the same time as you at Chingford Bus Station around 5:30, and then moved out of the way as I saw you were taking pics lol. I was the bloke in the grey coat milling about waiting for a 97. I was in some sort of black suit/uniform, so yeah, about 1730hrs. I actually thought about getting on the 97, but instead went on the train down to Walthamstow (and thus Central London) so I could try and get one of those new LTs on the 24 (which I did!).

Excellent post on the blog, and I love the photo at Hatton X heading towards T5, brilliant contrast a bit of brightness against the downpour that has obviously just happened. Fantastic reading :-) Thank you!

According to LVF, this vehicle hasn't been working since the 16th December. Is it in the process of transferring to another garage/operator?

It is at Waterloo. I saw it on Tuesday heading out on a test run with a Engineer after having something tweaked/fixed.

Thanks for the info. Looks like I will have to the 'Red Arrow' routes, especially with the new BYDs as well.
