DB250's, Trident's on the 264, Dart's and Enviro 200's on the 455, Solo's on the 463, Omnicites/Dekkas on the 64, B7TL's (VLA's) on the 109, DB300 (DW) on the 109, Trident's on the 60, 198 and 250, oh and Enviro's on the 289 Tridents on the 60 and Darts on the 455 are what's spec'd for the contract. What 'Tridents'?

Tridents on the 60 and Darts on the 455 are what's spec'd for the contract. What 'Tridents'? Think he means the Enviro 400's - some people seem to refer to them as Tridents for some reason.

Oh the fleet code for the Enviro's on the 60 is T, stands for Trident. Indeed as it's on a Trident chassis, just like why Putney's three Enviro400s are coded VE, the 'V' signifying that it's on a Volvo chassis.

I got a lot of LWB Volvos with working kickdown past me - Vs on the 40, VLAs on the 176 and VWLs on the 185. I do like the variety on the 185 these days - the PVLs are always a very welcome sight, as are the Es and WHVs.

Difference between the 3 VE's and every other Enviro 400 in London is that the the VE's are not integrals.

True but the chassis section of the integral E400s are still Tridents, the same chassis element used on Sutton's DOEs.
