For all those who are interested on what the Gemini 3, Euro VI sounded like, well. Here is your chance.
V6 serving the 12 on its first day of service.

That iBus seems very, very quiet.

Thanks on that, great video! The engine pushes the bus pretty well, pullaway even better than the B7TL. Will be interesting to see how she performs with a full load, guessing that the engine may stay a bit longer in each gear with heavier hauls and inclines.
It's a pity that engine wasn't available fully diesel with the euro4 and 5 examples. Perhaps more customers may then have turned to the Volvo from ADL, or at least done multiple orders (Abellio and Arriva come to mind).
Having said the above, I do like the B9TLs... especially the Voith geared VE class at Putney.
I like the variation of engine spec'd Volvo have done with their deckers since the 90s: 10L, 7.3L, 9.4L and now 5+L. Will be most interested in knowing the fuel consumption of V6 alongside the B9TLs.

That iBus seems very, very quiet. Noted when I tried to film the iBus. But it isn't very very quiet at all. But it can be easily overpowered with a load more people, I've been on it when it was nearly empty (both on my own and with friends) Meanwhile: iBus on V6 (upper deck). Note that the bus was practically empty. When I tried to film the iBus on the opposite direction, the "12" wasn't audible, and the rest was barely audible. Then again, there were a few excitable people near me.

Can't the driver adjust the saloon volume from his control screen?
