For those who like their MCW Metrobuses, well here is a chance to see another new video of one.

Excellent Vid! It certainly looked and sounded as though you were going faster than 41mph as you flew along the Colnbrook By-Pass though. I'm assume it continued all the way along the Bath Rd into Hounslow? I gather you recorded this over the weekend?

From my experience of driving Metrobuses, it sounds like this one is slightly restricted in top gear as most London ones could reach 45 mph with London General's trainers ungoverned up to 65mph (I could always tell the Speed by the tone of the whining). This is a brilliant video, giving me great flashbacks of the breed. Truly one of the best double-decker LT ever ordered, a 'DB250 of the yester-years'. youtu.be/71oRZw1JBSIThis one has M1036 going from 0mph to full thrash from 03:47 minutes, where she appears to be accelerating over an incline (top speed at 04:36 minutes, approx 45mph) then a slight decrease in speed around 04:56 before a down gradient speed from 05:18, accelerating to around 47mph...give or take. Video credit to Vjaska Thanks, as looking at my mph app it was showing me that the bus was doing 42mph max and that was around 3mins of the video which I believe was on the A4.
