rj131 in regards to the 256, when I used to go college the bus was very packed in the peak hours and even in the mornings full of college plus school kids due to this bus passing several schools hence it needing Deckers. Sometimes I couldn’t even go on it. Interesting, it’s deckers will surely be welcome then tbh I can see demand increasing yet further when Harold Wood becomes crossrail

Definitely can back you up on that as I've a mate who lives in Harold Wood and has told me on numerous occasions just how busy it gets so thankfully, it's finally going decker

Sampled ADH45010 on the 27 today. I've been wanting to get a 60-reg ADH on the route for a while given they haven't been on the route as much, and won't be able to go on the route for much longer. I love the 60-reg, but they're wasted on the E3 where they can barely eclipse 20mph.
I got ADH45010 from Notting Hill Gate to Hammersmith. The bus was running a few minutes late when it arrived at the stop. The result was the bus being absolutely floored. I loved being on a 60-reg ADH in Kensington, rather than crawling through the streets of Ealing and Acton. The bus was a proper beast. I had a great trip on the 27, and the route feels so much more enjoyable without wretched LTs. Because the bus was running late the driver floored the bus giving me an enjoyable journey as the bus pelted along Hammersmith Road. Overall a brilliant trip, and the 60-reg ADHs are so enjoyable on the 27.

Either the bus was just displaying Hammersmith or the ADHs aren't blinded. I think the latter is more likely. The bus was just displaying Hammersmith, which suggests that the buses aren't blinded for Hammersmith Grove or Hammersmith, Glenthorne Road. If that's the case then I doubt the buses are blinded for the 211.

Sorry if when reading this you feel like I'm going off on a waffly rant.
I got the 266 to Acton Vale. The roadworks on Askew Road were a nightmare, and getting through them was a pain. As we were tantalisingly close I saw three 207s pass, which was really annoying. I've seen quite a few turns on the 207 and 607 because of these roadworks, mainly at Shepherd's Bush and Acton Vale, as the roadworks are on the junction of Uxbridge Road and Askew Road. The services are just in tatters, and I saw this first hand as the 207 I was on was curtailed to Southall, Town Hall (it seems to be every time I'm heading west on a 207 its curtailed there). Long story short, it was unbearable.

* - The one and only 56 reg left, definitely showing signs of age and is pretty worn - but still gives an amazing ride!

427 to Denehurst Gardens (9528)
266 to Harlesden Police Station (TEH1452) - May be my last time on the route with Metroline but its quite funny to think that it will still be using the same types when at RATP to what it currently uses at Metroline.
260 to Golders Green (VWH2386) - Don't use this route often but the antisocial behaviour on it today reminded me why.
240 to Edgware (TE988) - Very boring route. For the most part, this route is boring, uneventful, and dire. I will say that parts of it were alright, such as the hill climb in Mill Hill, and the TE was a great bus, especially when the engine was revving but for the most part, I found the scenery really dry, thus making the route painfully boring. 4/10
107 to New Barnet (TE984) - This was a great route. Lovely Hertfordshire countryside made this a beautiful scenic route to do, I enjoy the parts between Canons Corner and Borehamwood, as well as between Stirling Corner and Barnet Hospital the most. The residential parts of the route were dry though - somethng which seems to be a recurring theme today... 8.5/10
326 to Barnet Church (DE20014) - Fun little route to try, nice to have a RATP DE with the bubble moquette. I even sampled the double run as something of the beaten track to enjoy, I kept thinking about the route's future whilst on it.
34 to Walthamstow Central (VWH2039) - Mostly enjoyable. I wanted to do the route before it leaves Metroline, and its been on my to do list for over a year now. The route was a little boring in places, but the fast sections along the North Circular were great. I really enjoyed the bus at speed, the driver absoloutely floored it, and it took no time. This route is an excellent one, which I would have loved to have done with a TE. 7.5/10
20 to Debden (2544) - First time on the route under HCT today, and wow it was brilliant. I was initially just going to go to Whipps Cross, and pick up a 56 but I was enjoying it so much I went all the way to Debden. The buses were fantastic, and the scenery along the route is amazing. Granted that the route isn't flawless, I loved the greenery on this route which made it thoroughly enjoyable. Once again, some of the residential parts of this route did let it down a little, but it is still, a fantastic route for the most part. 9/10

The 20 is a brilliant route I would have it in my top 10. Did it on the first day of CT Plus taking over the operation.

My journey's over the last 4 days: Friday: 186 - VW1372 - Mill Hill Broadway > Edgware Station - First time riding this bus since refurb, and I must say it has made such an improvement with the fact it is now all fresh internally. Also a very fast bus. Then later in the day: 32 - VMH2441 - Edgware Station > Burnt Oak Broadway - I love the fact these stray onto the 32, real nice buses, just a shame I can't ride them much as I don't use the 113. 302 - VWH1413 - Burnt Oak Station > Mill Hill Broadway - Just the usual really, use this batch a lot. Could really do with a refurb, some of the seats are beginning to go yellow...
Saturday: 302 - VWH1414 - Mill Hill Broadway > Kingsbury Green - Same as VWH1413 really. 204 - VW1752 - Kingsbury Green > Kingsbury Station - Like I said with VW1754 the other day, I really love this batch, very comfortable and make that nice roaring B9TL sound. Then later on: 204 - TE1310 - Kingsbury Green > Kingsbury Green - Not much to say about this one, was a nice bus and had a loud engine fan. 302 - VWH2405 - Kingsbury Green > Mill Hill Broadway - Usual VWH journey tbh, not much to complain about.
Sunday: 302 - VWH2409 - Mill Hill Broadway > Kingsbury Green - Again like VWH2405 just a normal VWH journey, not much to complain about. 204 - TE1095 - Kingsbury Green > Kingsbury Station - Like TE1310 I use these all the time, so not much to talk about there. Then later on: 324 - DE1015 - Kingsbury Station > Kingsbury Green - Must say I really like W's DEs, the ones I've sampled so far on the 324 have been decently quick. 302 - VWH1408 - Kingsbury Green > Mill Hill Broadway - Same as VWH1413/1414 really.
Today: 302 - VWH2419 - Mill Hill Broadway > Kingsbury Green - Okay so with this journey the driver was driving the bus at snails pace the whole journey... So was very boring. 324 - DE1318 - Kingsbury Green > Kingsbury Station - Again W's DEs are great, especially this bus, which has single handedly given me a good impression of the 12 regs (Not sampled the others), was very fast just like the first time I went on this - 324 drivers aren't afraid of doing a little bit of thrash! Overall DE1318 was just a nice bus. Then later on: 183 - VHR45206 - Kingsbury Station > Kingsbury Green - First time getting on one of these and must say very impressed (I've actually gotten on one of these before a regular LT!), never been a fan of the looks of these buses, but I do like the interior and the bus certainly gave a good ride! 302 - VWH2419 - Kingsbury Green > Mill Hill Broadway - Sadly I caught this bus again (Shame as VW1822 was the next bus - probably should've waited the extra 10 minutes for that), to say the least the bus was still being driven so slowly still that it actually spent probably more then 50% of its journey in electric mode... No exaggeration.

Luckily a majority of my 240 journey's are on the bit between Mill Hill Broadway and Mill Hill East.

427 to Ealing Broadway (2573) Central Line to Holborn for work
Afterwards:
243 to Waterloo (HV379)
SWR to North Sheen
Walk to Sainsbury's
371 to Kingston Hall Road (SP40110) - I've been wanting to do this route with a decker for so long, so to finally get round to doing it was great. Amazing route. The SPs suit it so well, with the driver flooring the bus where possible. Tthe scenery is brilliant especially the excellent Star and GarterHill. I loved this route so much, even the residential sections weren't bad due to interesting architecture, excellent route, and a huge shame it isn't very useful for practical journeys. 10/10
418 to Tolworth Broadway (ADE40303)
Walk to Tolworth Tower
281 to Hounslow, Bus Station (SP40121) - Another bloody good route. It has a nice balance of scenery which makes it so enjoyable. I found it excellent for the most part, a neat cross Kingston link is good, and the route is generally very enjoyable with the highlight being the Kingston-Twicikenham section. Again another fantastic SP from the brilliant Fulwell garage. I won't deny this route was a little dry in places, the Twickenham Stadium-Hounslow section being boring with little of interest, I'm sure had I done it the other way, I would have gotten bored south of Kingston because of course this is a long route. 9/10
E8 to Swyncombe Avenue (VW1063) - Predictably, everyone waiting at Hounslow Bus Station swamped the 237, leaving me with a nice half full E8 to enjoy.
Walk home
