Had an absolutely ridiculous 40 minute wait for the 235 today in the Sunbury Village area today. Must've been a lot of "traffic" as someone on here would say. The diarrhea like operation certainly spreads to the 235. Though quite a bit of distance from where I am, the 235 is a joke. Its always packed and when I see a bus on the route at Hounslow, its common to see one being circulated to Hounslow Heath or Sunbury Cross. I'm no regular to the route but I feel sorry for people that do. I admit, I did like the variety it used to have under TF control. It was common to have a day when several 02 reg darts, RN52 & 04 reg nimbuses, 08 reg Euro IV Enviros, 59, 10, 11, 62 and 13 reg Euro V Enviros and the quite rare appearances of the 61 and 12 regs were all on the route. I agree, it was very interesting seeing what bus what turn up whenever I waited for the 235 under TF operation. Always looked forward to having a 13 reg E200. The service under TF wasn't amazing but it was a hell of a lot better than the "service" RATP provide.

The road in question has nothing to do with the 110, 111, 116, 117, 235, 237, 281, 423 and H28 so not sure why you've posted that. It also clearly states below the routes which are affected. Regardless, even if that named road did affect the 235 it should not be used as an excuse to cover up for a 40 minute gap in the service. Several people on here now have complained about the 235s joke of a service and rightly so. Of course you do also get the RATP advocates who try to deflect about the state of this route and talk about random routes like the 90 and 237 (which actually perform significantly better in person). One of them seems to have vanished though. How can Metroline Brentford manage under much harder conditions which were the very long winded Feltham Bridge Roadworks but RATP can't for a minor hiccup. Someone'd probably talk too loudly and you'd have half the route terminating at Sunbury Cross . Overall, this has been going on for years now and it's clear that no improvements will be made, at least not under RATPEE anyway. Unfortunately, even if this route is terminated early which I think is starting to get unlikely there's no chance of it moving back to AH or even TF (who were somehow better than WK) as both are full. Additionally, RATP have the annoying advantage of having existing whilst both TUK and Metroline would need new. It's funny the sh#t response you get on here you are not flavor of the month. The same with the passive aggressive likes but I digress. That's all very well regarding the road but all I did was go onto the TfL status page to see if there was any issues on the 235, it had a status alert and that's what I copied in my initial post, I did point out I was not local so how would I know otherwise? If the route is not affected then its a TfL issue not mine, I can only go by the website. People are always moaning about poor service on here, maybe direct the complaints at TfL or the operating company. If you're not 100% sure on something why bother commenting. There is no need to comment on every single debate you know. Not quite sure why you are so concerned about the 235 considering it goes nowhere near you. I also checked the status page before hand and noticed this. Regarding passive aggressive likes, not sure what you're inferring? Just looked like a few people agreed with my post.

Did the SL6 yesterday. Been wanting to do this for a while, was going to do it in December when I did the SL1,SL7,SL9 and SL10 but plans change.
Piccadilly line- Wood Green to Russell Square Walked to Russell Square EH222 (SL6) Russell Square Station to West Croydon Bus Station (decent route. Barely got caught in any traffic. Shouldn't be a part of Superloop though because of its limited hours but at least we get more branded buses in London) Walked to West Croydon Station Overground- West Croydon to Anerley HV143 (432)- Anerley Station to Anerley Hill/Crystal Palace Walked to Crystal Palace bus station LT703 (3)- Crystal Palace bus station to Brixton Station Walked to Brixton station Victoria line- Brixton to Finsbury Park (sometimes I forget how fast the Vic line is. What a good line it is.) Piccadilly line- Finsbury Park to Wood Green Stopped at Morrisons then took T274 on the 329 home

After doing the peak Chiltern Railways service to West Ruislip, my next stop was C2C. Going from Fenchurch Street to Grays, Clacton-on-Sea and Shoeburyness. Focused on the Grays route as that's the "metro" route of C2C.
Piccadilly line- Wood Green to King's Cross St Pancras Metropolitan line- King's Cross St Pancras to Aldgate Walked to Fenchurch Street; the only London mainline termini without a Underground counterpart station
Had a 20+ minute wait so got some bites first C2C- Fenchurch Street to Grays (forgot that West Ham just finished playing by the time I rode the train but no problem with loud fans) 146 (44)- Grays Bus Station to Lakeside Bus Station (never got to ride the BCI tri-axle that GAL had on the 12. Really nice bus but feels a little boxy and really small legroom. Not ideal for a tall person like me] DW221 (370)- Lakeside Bus Station to Romford Station 19814 (86)- Romford Station to Seven Kings Station Elizabeth line- Seven Kings to Stratford Greater Anglia- Stratford to Tottenham Hale Victoria line- Tottenham Hale to Finsbury Park Piccadilly line- Finsbury Park to Bounds Green HV225 (221)- Bounds Green Station to Cline Road Fin..
Next up is the Great Northern peak service to Hertford North. Gonna have to speed this up. Thankfully the next few train companies only have 1 "metro" service.

Managed to have a ride on what seems to have been the last SOE on the 152 yesterday, SOE15, I rode it for the whole route bar 10 stops at one end. Sounds great mechanically and will be a slight shame to see these go but the comfort of EVs will always surpass the nostalgia of the SOEs. Took an SL7 to Sutton after to catch an OM on the S1, had OM9 which was dreadful. The whole bus was vibrating a lot, definitely was not a comfortable ride especially in the state these OMs are without refurbishment. I need to try catching one of the ex-RR SEs on it.

Are you not aware that there is foot tunnel at Woolwich Ferry? I have always been thinking what are the top 10 routes for new enthusiasts to ride to cover the quirks of London buses. I have not come up with a list yet but it would be things like a circular route, a Superloop, out of London route, very high frequency route/ultra busy route, scenic route etc... A recent route that I thought was nice and weird and ticks a box is the G1. That would probably make is under 'crazy single decker'.

While route 33 can take DLEs now that Hammersmith Bridge is closed long-term they do still surprise me. When I rode a GA SE on route 533 last October it felt an intriguing area to be served by GA, even though they do operate route 493 nearby.

My bus journey was the Luxair shuttle bus (the Citaros which for some reason display the 173 on their screens with map to Chadwell Heath were not out today) elderly MAN bendybus took me to the terminal at Luxembourg Airport. 16 bus (another MAN bendy, ZF box) took me from the airport to Kirchberg / Luxexpo stop where I got a tram. All the buses and trams are free. Incredibly clean as well. No discarded Dixy Chicken boxes and random tissues on the floor like back home
