I saw VPL233 (Y233 NLK) on the 260 today. It has a ZF transmission. I always thought all X-51 reg VPLs had a 3 speed Voith box. Has this bus always been a ZFer or was it retrofitted with a new transmission?

Has this bus always been a ZFer or was it retrofitted with a new transmission? I believe this bus was a victim of excessive fire damage, possibly to the point where the engine and gearbox needed replacement.

215-226 and a few later models in that batch had ZF gearboxes.
