Arriva in Malta was always a troubled operation Not really. When I went there, it wasn't too bad Can I ask seeing as you've experience, what was the operation like? I'll be interested to know.

To be honest, Arriva Malta run a much better operation than some companies in London! For instance, buses are mostly on-time, although they are crowded sometimes, they are clean, the fares are cheap (€2.40 for a 7day child ticket and not much more for an adult) although sometimes their operations can go downhill, for instance, I was on a crowded 12 (Bendy bus route) in San Gillian on my way to Valletta and the driver started driving with the rear door open! I think they must have removed the safety systems. Most bendys still had london blind boxes too
