Friday, I was on the P13. Traffic was so bad I think I was at one point running 40 minutes late! Strangely, I was never asked to curtail my bus at any stage of my duty. Some turns...
P13 to Streatham Hill Station and plenty more to Peckham 109 to Streatham - coming from Brixton 50 to Thornton Heath 133 to London Bridge 333 to Brixton 319 to Battersea Bridge P12 to Peckham - coming from Honor oak
Fridays seem to be really weird for me now. I've just seen a 21 bound for Lewisham turn on to Tower Bridge Road, then I saw a 188 (and a 1 right after) come from Dunton Road and turn onto Old Kent Road to head towards Russell Square. Any idea what's going on?
Overturned lorry at Bricklayers Arm Roundabout.
That's quite weird as the 172 I was on still continued the normal route around the roundabout. Strangely there was another 172 behind which over took us and went on the fly over (later terminated at New Cross Gate)

PVL113 on the 87. As much as I used to love these Euro II Voith PVLs, I wish GAL would get rid of them!

Why, they are decent vehicles. The older PVL's can still move fairly quickly for their age just like the older DLA's.
This is not aimed at you because many before have said the same thing but I really do tire of people saying they wish companies get rid of their old buses - I'm not saying they should stay forever but I think they should be appreciated while they are here because once they are gone. Some people seem to think new buses are the be all and end all - ask the 157 drivers what they prefer out of the 51 reg Tridents or the much younger Volvo's and the majority will say the Tridents.
The oldest buses tend to be very useful in filling in gaps in fleets be it due to refurbs, repairs or even covering unreliable newer buses. Let's not castigate them any further.
25's buses do have blinds for Bank, seen that curtailment many times before. It's probably a driver error.
Nothing to do with driver error. The 25 buses carry blinds for Bank not Mansion House. The journeys that were going through the Holborn Circus were cut back to City Thameslink Station and now Bank. The iBus is at fault here as the buses are turning around at Mansion House Station using Queen Victoria Street, Cannon Street, Friday Street and stand on Queen Victoria Street facing the Bank junction for the return journey.
