Hello,
Is there any reason the IBUS system can't be set so as when the bus approaches the last stop it goes something like
"Stratford, where this bus will terminate"
With the current system there is a pause on the last stop where it changes to bus terminates.

Not to mention routes where the first stop and the last stop are the same stop, the Termination message is non existent.

The 353 at Ramsden Estate even though it's a loop in the estate, TfL don't count it as such so if passengers want to go past the stand they must tap in again even for 1 stop so "This Bus Terminates here" does play at "Ramsden Estate, Rye Crescent" bus stop.

Sometimes the more impatient drivers play "This bus terminates here, please take your belongings with you" before ariving at the last stop.
Slightly out of topic from the iBus aspect, there are signs regarding buses terminating at Putney Bridge, and one of them was rather brilliantly 'vandalised' stating that terminating buses are "killer buses from the future"

When I'm on a route I don't know and I'm doing it end to end, it helps me to know what the last stop is so I've no issue with it lol.

It's annoying when you're doing a new route end-to-end and the driver kicks you off early. Now that is impatient!

They should have an announcement before the last stop saying "This bus will terminate at the next stop" I was once on a 412 (DW98) back in October. We passed Christchurch Road/Purley Hospital where the alighting point is. Someone pressed the bell and got off but only after we left that stop, It said "This bus terminates here" and the driver switched the lights off, with me and my brother still onboard. We pressed the bell and the driver was quite shocked we were still there. Fortunately, he let us off at the bus stand at Purley/Downlands Precint

Fortunately, he let us off at the bus stand at Purley/Downlands Precint I agree with this, would be useful on routes like the 62 where the turn at one terminus is a loop. Generally on the 62 people stay on at the last stop in hope of being taken around. The driver has to tell them to get off and wait until departure.

Heard on 44: "Grosvenor's Gardens where this bus will terminate. Please take your belongings with you". Both on Friday and today the driver didn't make any further announcement.

It also allows anyone that is not familiar with the area/route to know that it is the last stop. I've had it so many times where someone just sits there not knowing it is the last stop and thus wastes time.
