Like anything it just takes time for people to get used it, give it a couple of weeks and people will know exactly what’s happening I’m also glad to hear snoggle said the loads along the existing 425 were decent, I hope that’s the first sign of the route becoming better loaded because of an enhanced service *cough*cough*TfL take note what happens when you make improvements* I was only joking about - I know people will get used to it. Oh I think you may have misinterpreted, I was just adding to what you were saying rather than making a correction I can actually just imagine someone not paying attention and going down towards Victoria Park! I did that once at Wimbledon going back to Kingston, a 131 DD was on the 200, completely wasn’t paying attention and just got on it (thinking it was 131) and got a nasty shock when it went straight past the Elys department rather than turning left onto Francis Grove I had my earphones on so didn’t hear the announcement and thought ‘what the hell’s going on’

Could be interesting going the other way and passengers get a shock when the bus turns at Mile End Like anything it just takes time for people to get used it, give it a couple of weeks and people will know exactly what’s happening I’m also glad to hear snoggle said the loads along the existing 425 were decent, I hope that’s the first sign of the route becoming better loaded because of an enhanced service *cough*cough*TfL take note what happens when you make improvements* Was actually me who said it though in all fairness, it's not important who said it It could just be me but I've found whenever I've seen 425's, they're always decently loaded. The first day of the route roughly 10 years ago, it was quiet a little but I suspect that was down to it being new at the time.

Redone the 425 end to end yesterday having last done it end to end on the first day it was introduced roughly 10 years ago and with a on loan Metroline TP - this time, I had one of its own 13 reg DN’s. Decent loads on the existing section between Clapton & Stratford but we were a little quiet between Stratford & Ilford - people were a little confused about the 425’s extension in general and where it stopped at Stratford Bus Station and people were actively letting 425’s go to board much busier 25’s & 86’s presumably due to familiarity. I had a very contrasting experience, I actually let a 425 go at Stratford towards Ilford because of how packed it was. Although I wouldn't be surprised if most of this is just people getting on a bus that looks identical to the 25 that they normally use. The buses seemed to be picking up decent loads in Ilford as well. Fair enough - I did go on the 425 later on than yourself so maybe that was a factor? I did have to direct two passengers at Stratford who noticed that the bus stop the 425 used to stop at had a cross through for the 425 so hopefully, they managed to get the bus

FInally did the 403 end to end at the weekend. Before that I had only been as far as Sanderstead Roundabout on it. The section after that is actually pretty nice and quiet, shame it was raining on Saturday when I did it though
