I notice that the long lists of routes ridden end to end tend not to include (m)any of the Roundabout R routes in Orpington. An earlier post and update explained how routes R1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 and 11 can all be done end to end in a single day. Have a go, someone!

I notice that the long lists of routes ridden end to end tend not to include (m)any of the Roundabout R routes in Orpington. An earlier post and update explained how routes R1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 and 11 can all be done end to end in a single day. Have a go, someone! I’ve rode them all ages ago along with pretty much every standard daytime route - just need to re-do the R1 for the Tower Road re-routing.

Orpington is a long way to travel for some people. I expect that a lot of lists don't feature the Uxbridge U routes for the same reason! Funnily I am right now on a mission to do as many of the outermost routes as possible - especially the ones crossing the Greater London boundary The U & R routes are fairly easy as both networks pretty much centre on Orpington & Uxbridge and with Uxbridge especially, you can tie in the 331 which crosses the border. Good to see the progress your making, can't wait to when you join me on doing all the standard routes

Years - back in the day, I accidentally done some routes end to end and wasn't until a couple of years back that a few people on here inspired me to do the rest and it was actually quite interesting & fun going through different places and even seeing some odd stand movements on certain routes.

Did the 7 end to end today only been as far as Latymer School/Upper Playing fields before,a very nice route. Almost did the 283 end to end as well but not quite as missed two stops from East Acton.

Don't you hate it when you plan an end to end trip, make the effort and then find the route is on diversion, spoils it for me. Did 325 end to end, but with diversion in Forest Gate area, went along Green Street instead of Katherine Road. Got to Prince Regent and was tempted to walk direct back to East Beckton Sainsbury's just to see how long it took. Unfortunately or fortunately perhaps the weather was foul so I decided not to bother. Anyone done that walk?
