Are there any Britain's got talent fans among us? If so what have been your favourite acts from this series?

I don't have any favourite act just yet although the auditions are the best part of the show.

I am delighted to announce that I am a hermit and have never watched any of these "I want to be famous for a nanosecond and get to number 1 in the charts for 1 week and then never have a hit again" or "I'm a celebrity and I don't mind making a complete ar*e of myself" shows. Therefore all the hype and nonsense associated with them is just completely meaningless to me.

When I did I only watched it for people making an ass of themselves Now where I live there isn't a functioning TV This was the funniest thing on the show by far: www.youtube.com/watch?v=IKooik-_m3k

I was at my sisters house this evening and she made us all watch some backstage version of the show, on it there was some bloke who talked in echo's. That was pretty cool how he had mastered it.
Other than that, it's only good to watch people make complete arses out of themselves!

The day that BGT & X Factor are removed from the T.V. is the day I'll throw a right knees up - cant stand either show!

I think the last series I watched was the one Diversity won over Flawless and the Scottish Lady. That was a good series and performances. Since then I realised every series is basically the same.
Surely, at some point everyone has auditioned and all the talent has been exhausted. On the other, I notice that recently that foreigners won as well as even a dog...Based on that this series could last forever.

If anyone is interested, Series 9 will be starting on Saturday at 8:00pm Put me in the "not interested" box. I have never watched any of these "talent" type shows on ITV or BBC. The whole world of "X Factor Come Dancing Voice Got's Talent" passes me by. I only know the names of the shows because you can't miss the trailers for them.

So far I have 4 people not interested. But after the shambles of last year I don't really blame anyone

But after the shambles of last year I don't really blame anyone Yes, last year was a complete disappointment, I can't even remember who won last year but I remember at least 5 finalists from the year before. For the people who aren't fans, you have to be fair, most of the finalists are really talented and entertaining to watch. Well except last year's.
