So Ensign providing quite a lot of buses. I wonder what extra buses will be running on the 8? It'll be nice seeing Tridents on the route.

The central is running as far as Leytonstone from Epping, the 20 doesn't need any, The Epping to Chingford is just to cover overcrowding as there will be a reduced service

Its on the BBC NEws... www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-28885142I had no idea about the strikes myself. I'm very surprised that drivers are given warnings for leaving a terminus 33 seconds late

I'm very surprised that drivers are given warnings for leaving a terminus 33 seconds late If you read Aslef Shrugged's blog you'll get some sense of the nonsense that is going on. Even if you set aside some of the inevitable union bias you can see that things are not well on the Central Line. Unfortunately there seems to be a long standing issue with how train side management acts plus there are the inevitable "p*ss takers" amongst the employees which makes for a toxic brew. I got off very lightly with only a few issues amongst my team of office people but even one issue or grievance could take hours and hours of effort as things dragged through the process. I think I'd have gone bonkers if I'd had loads of problem cases to deal with.
