haha think they should use him as the next voice for ibus Dear god NO [1]. He'll be ranting about tomatoes and mayonnaise in between saying the route number and the stop name. [1] just added some Blessed over emphasis there. Give him some 'Pritt Stick' and tell him it's lip salve

One of the wrapped new Routemasters will take part in the Lord Mayor’s Show on Saturday 8 November. Well, now we know the identity of all the poppy buses, it's clear that it will be LT269 doing The Lord Mayor's Show : the only LT with poppies, as it's turned out...

Mentioned on the Go-Ahead London drivers portal, on the 30th October there will be two announcements being played over ibus, by Brian Blessed and Joanna Lumley. They will be as follows: Brian Blessed: "Hi its Brian Blessed and I’m supporting London Poppy day with Transport for London as we mark the centenary of the First World War. Let’s give generously to those who gave up so much for us. Thank you Ladies and Gentleman" Joanna Lumley: "Hello its Joanna Lumley here and I'm supporting London Poppy Day with Transport for London. Please will you give generously to the collectors who are all over London as we mark the centenary of the First World War. The Royal British Legion needs to continue to help those who have sacrificed so much. Thank you very much indeed" I hope someone has exercised some volume control with Mr Blessed. Can you imagine the fright factor if he was at full whack? Nope!!! Almost crashed my bus first time he shouted at me!!!!

I just heard Brian Blessing's message on the K2. I could hear a word he was saying. Probably because of the loud fan at the back to the bus. And the fact that I have the engine behind me lol. But I don't think anyone else on here heard it probably either.

I was killing time on a stop in an empty bus the first time he shouted at me - I nearly went up through the flippin roof!!!!!!!

Well I've heard "sweetie darling Garden Bridge Joanna Lumley" and "Heeellllmannnnns Tomato Brian Blessed" on the W11 today. Not sure other passengers quite twigged what was going on or being said.

There's a number of celebrity announcements on the tube including Sir Stephen Fry, Barbra Windsor, Arsene Wenger and the wholly inappropriate John Terry.

Joanna Lumley seems to be following me around - first on a 210, then on the tube, then at work (announcements on tannoy in Liverpool St) and now on the way home. They are very loud aren't they? ?
