During the tram closure this weekend
Addiscombe Road will be closed between East Croydon and Shirley Road. Bus routes 119, 194, 198 and 466 will be on diversion and the area will be much busier than usual.

Another I indication that routing through Victoria Bus Station is being restored soon: Ibus used to show Neathouse Place for Victoria Station. It now does not mention the station. Looking on the London Bus Routes website, it appears that services using Terminus Place and then go via Vauxhall Bridge Road will return to Terminus Place from the 24th August. This includes terminating services which use Vauxhall Bridge Road to stand.
From the 24th August -
buses 2, 13, 16, 36, 170, 185, C10, N2, N16 and N136 [towards Camberwell] will use Terminus Place bus 52 will start and terminate in Victoria Bus Station buses 44 and C1 will continue to terminate in Buckingham Palace Road and pick up in Victoria Street buses 11, 24, 148, 211, 507, N11, N44 and N136 [towards Westminster] will continue to uses their diversonary routes as the right turn from Wilton Road into Victoria Street is not available yet.

Its long overdue for the arrangements in Victoria bus station.

44 and C1 are currently not picking up from Victoria Street, but from Buckingham Palace Road. Is this changing?

Positives are this info was at least released a week in advance. Negatives are TfL have a Notting Hill page on their website and no info is up there as yet. If it's ready, put the bus related information up on your dedicated page so people can easily access it? Nah, too much logic for those in TfL Towers The 205 loses its express service and there is skimping from the 36X in the form of return journeys, Joe & Jenny Public encouraged to take the normal 36 instead with its increased evening service from Harrow Road. The 52 seems determined to not let anyone onto its shorts for carnival from document phrasing. Routes 18 and 328 are worthy mentions with their extra buses; very disappointing with Craven Park- Elgin Avenue shorts for the former. Especially with the 205X being withdrawn, TfL should've considered sending the extra buses further eastbound; even terminating at Paddington Green/Edgware Road would've made a considerable difference to customers' onwards jounerys. The 328's shorts are smart: Chelsea to Notting Hill Gate & Golders Green to Harrow Road, Elgin Avenue. Just can't wait till next week for the overpriced chicken, Elgin Avenue effectively becoming an outstation for X and packed N18s on the way home; as if TfL don't realise that a million or so people are concentrated in one area and they can't all pack onto the last train home!

The page is still hopelessly inadequate. There’s no need to state that revised timetables to improve reliability are being introduced on the E5/R68.

Do not know what the bus stop arrangements outside the Grosvenor Hotel in Buckingham Palace Road will be.

How does the Notting Hill Carnival produce 'permanent bus changes?.' It should have its own page when you look it up: maybe it does, but, regardless, it shouldn't be included in permanent bus changes.

I’ll be quite sad when the 148 is rerouted back via Terminus Place. The traffic on Buckingham Palace Road is appalling, and the current routing works quite well now you have the Cardinal Place entrance to Victoria Station. Of course for people wanting the mainline station/coach station, the 148’s eastbound routing isn’t helpful, but when it its rerouted via Terminus Place towards Camberwell, that’ll make the route less appealing to many including me who enjoy the current routing. EDIT: Just realised that the 148 will be able to turn out of Wilton Street into Victoria Street in future which makes the reroute more acceptable. I was concerned that buses would serve Terminus Place and then do a lap of the gyratory to get to Victoria Street. Now I see that right turn is to be restored, I can’t wait for the 24 and 211 to be rerouted eastbound.

Good to see the 2X back again, usually is busy or packed and that’s just from the Brixton end.
Also looking forward to the return of buses to Victoria and no longer having to walk down to Vauxhall Bridge Road to catch the 2.

The 390 should move to Stand B and I should imagine the 507 will move to Stand A. While the 52 will depart from Stand C

The Permanent Bus Changes page on the TfL website has evolved into a churning list of 'changes over the last couple of weeks and during the next two or three'.

Permanent frequency decrease: 253, 254, 259

One additional AM service: 118, 250

The 'Permanent bus changes' webpage is increasingly badly named.
