No need, now that the 415 is being Extended to Old Kent Road, Tesco, the 415 & 432 do not need to be merged. They do, three routes along Tulse Hill are not needed, it's a waste of precious resources The only reason why I won't merge the two routes now is because there is scope to extend the 415 southwards - an excellent link to Streatham Tesco via Leigham Vale, Valley Road & Streatham Common North Side could not be provided if both routes were merged. The 432 should then be extended to Elmers End via Birkbeck and maybe extend it via Coldharbour Lane to Camberwell Green to stand in the bus garage.

The results for the 415 consultation are in. TfL have decided to proceed with proposals to extend route 415 to Old Kent Road, Tesco, via New Kent Road and the Bricklayer's Arms from 7 March 2015. I am guessing the incorrect data on the map shown on the consultation page has caused confusion, as respondents asked "Would TfL consider the converting the 415 to a night bus service?" I received an email from TfL informing me of the extension of the 415 to the Old Kent Road. However, I've never used the route and don't think I will. How do TfL gather the info from Oyster thinking I will?

How do TfL gather the info from Oyster thinking I will? Clearly TfL will know what buses or rail services you use. If you travel in the broad catchment area of the extended 415 then you may well receive an E Mail. If you use buses that parallel the 415 then you many also get an E Mail. Sometimes TfL just E Mail a load of people if it is a change they want to "boast" about! I've had the odd E Mail from them where I've thought "why did I get that?".

I've had e-mails like that too, I'm not sure it is connected to oyster card use but just e-mails that are randomly sent out.

I'll check later on if I've got one seeing as I live on the route. When the 415 was introduced, I got a route leaflet through the door about a week before its introduction but I take as I've not got one this time, they don't do them anymore?

Such expense might be worthwhile for a new route but probably not just for a short extension?

The parallel routing may the logical reason as I use the 363 which operates along the extended part of the Old Kent Road or the P13 which also serves Tulse Hill.

The stand at old kent road is very crowed now the 415 is there. A few times before its extension I've seen the 168's overflowing and standing on the double red lines right after the turn off old kent road. A couple of times now I've seen buses parked on both sides of the road. Pretty sure the stand only holds 2 buses.

Is driver changeover at the Elephant? I was there earlier when I saw a 415 with a grand total of ONE passenger towards the Old Kent Road.
