Little over a fortnight until these route changes are due to take place. Not seen any online map or iBus changes. Further push back maybe ? More likely a mad last minute dash after Christmas assuming all the highway changes have been done by Redbridge Council. The first Thursday in Jan is probably when Countdown will be updated.

The bus stops have been marked out on the road surface. Just waiting for physical bus stops and shelters to be erected.

Not happening - stops weren't in place a couple of days ago according to info elsewhere. Also no spider map or Countdown updates - I've been checking. Also no press release or tweets extolling the benefits of the change. No hints anywhere as to what is happening. It'll disappear into the route change "black hole" alongside the 224 change and the route 70 extension. EDIT - apparently postponed until Mid February. www.ilfordrecorder.co.uk/home/bus_number_462_route_changes_delayed_1_4372740

I observed today that new bus stop posts have gone up at some, but not all, locations in Forest Road, Fairlop. From a distance, the ones in Elmbridge Road also appear to have been erected. Some of these stops were, according to the original consultation, destined to have shelters, but no shelters have been put up yet. I have not been able to check whether any of the work required in Limes Farm Estate has been done yet.
So, some signs of progress, but still more work to be done. I have not seen any recent forecast of when the change will now be implemented.

It may take a few weeks for the shelters to be implemented - last week, the westbound Lambeth Town Hall bus stop only got its new shelter despite being repositioned a few weeks prior.

On the 276 bus route, the old Leywick Street bus stop before West Ham Station has been moved and renamed Corporation Street. Happened last Summer, towards Newham Hospital, the bus shelter hasn't been relocated, and towards Stoke Newington, the ibus still shows Leywick Street. In both directions, the ibus still thinks there in the old location, showing how long it can take sometimes.

My emailed question Their emailed response I note they didn't specify which year that "early June" refers to. So that's basically 6 months delay so far.

In all honesty it was not until getting this response that i realised Limes Farm Estate is not within LBR. There is barely any mentioning of Essex County Council in consultation material, could suggest little conversation was had with them. Surprised none of the local news outlets followed up on this delay...but why report about local infrastructure, when you can talk planning applications!

I knew this from when I did the 462 last year end to end - because I'm into streetlighting, I can tell literally from the streetlighting roughly where Redbridge ends and Essex begins - the Borough of Redbridge literally surrounds the estate on two sides and a little bit on the third side. Other than a couple of roads just south of Copperfield & Limes Avenue, the entire estate is situated in Essex.

LondonBusRoute.net is reporting the changes as taking place this Saturday 25th June Not exactly early June but I shall not waste this time being a pessimist as I do look forward to going on the new routing (confession: I still have not travelled on the full length of the 462, just Ilford - Barkingside no time left to do it now ).

TfL Digital Blog says route changes on 25 June with no timetable changes. There is then a timetable change on 2 July 2015. Make of that nonsense what you will. I sit corrected courtesy of Shedbasher.

That blog is not that clear, www.londonbusroutes.net/changes.htm is much clearer. As there is a timetable change on 25th June, for the re-routing, then there is a timetable change on 2nd July for the allocation moving to River Road, but that will be no change to the public timetable.
