Must say the refresh does look good. Are there similar plans for the TFL rail take over on the Shenfield line ? I have seen a photo of a train with similar external branding and also a TfL line diagram inside. I don't know if the seats are going to be redone because the new trains (Crossrail class 345s) are due in 2017 so rather earlier than the new Overground ones. Therefore it may not be value for money to spend as much on the TfL Rail stock in the short term. I have heard rumours that the new Class 345s may run to a slightly shorter formation while running into Liverpool Street as the platforms have to be extended to take a nine car Class 345. The extensions are definitely planned but not sure when the physical alterations will be made. When running through the tunnels then the trains will be 9 cars long with the ability to extend to 11 cars later on.

Incase you hadn't guessed it's the 0531 Liverpool Street to Enfield Town via South Tottenham junction Which I intend to catch sometime in June / July when I do my "night bus photos" session. It's the only thing that would legitimately put me in town at that time of day wanting to head north. Knowing my luck it'll be cancelled when I go to catch it.

Dear ServerKing - you're mad but in a nice way (based on your Daily Mail articles). You must be the most terrible wind up merchant at work.

It's only worth it in the summer, otherwise you will look at darkness and not much else. Although to be honest the scenery on the diversion route isn't that exciting!

I did notice on one of the photos taken at Enfield Town that White Hart Lane also has the British rail symbol, can't think of its name. AGA services don't call here, but on Spurs match days, some fast trains go there, so maybe that's why it's included

But that's rare track to cover, I look forward to bashing over the 7 sisters chord and Tottenham South Junction but the time is slightly the downer.

There is another Twitter Q&A session at 1pm with answers on "new" Overground services by Director Mike Stubbs!
I expect a lot of angry questions, with many about Rolling Stock, short formations and cancellations

I expect a lot of angry questions, with many about Rolling Stock, short formations and cancellations It's just finished and snoggle 's been interrogating them to the extreme. Mix of longitudinal and transverse seating is "planned" on the new Aventra trains. Many questions about train reliablity/short formations asked as expected and the blame has mainly been placed on 6 trains not used by AGA for 3 years which have become very troublesome. The refurb is ongoing, with 1 of the sinister six coming out of the depot on Monday, hopefully with all problems rectified. Someone asked about a separate Twitter identity for the new routes, something they "will consider". Also, there are apparently no current plans to take over AGA route to Hertford East.

Better summary than I could have done. Some other tweeters got upset that all my questions were being answered and their's weren't. Mike Swiggs said he'd come back and provide answers to all the tweets he couldn't respond to in 1 hour.

Things my tweets found out Majority of the old DVAs to be replaced within 18 months Roundels by autumn Considering separate Twitter feeds for the extra lines They confirmed the recent addition of train formations on DVAs is here to stay Oh and they will come back to me with answer to the standard LO announcements on trains and stations Think that's it

Odd that plenty of questions about poor reliability etc have been answered. It's like dealing with children when you see some people's responses on Twitter. It's like a primary school playground with each child trying to shout over the top of the others.
