The good thing about the current routing of the 156 is that it gives passengers a chance to change onto the 44 towards Victoria. Also, when I used to work at QB, I would normally get the train to Battersea Park and then go to the Battersea Park Stop on Queenstown Road where I could get a choice of three buses towards QB (137, 156 and 452).
Also that roundabout at Queens Circus is a bit dodgy as it has three lanes for traffic but no one really uses the lanes as it unsuitable. Certainly for buses it not suitable to stay fully on the left hand lane. Adding traffic lights will make much more congestion I believe so I'm confused why they decided to do this. Obviously, the authorities know better than me!

Outcome: TfL plan to are proceed with the changes to the 156. Junction works should start in November this year, with the changes to the route following in 9 January 2016. 90% of responses supported or partially supported the changes. Journey reductions of 95 seconds (Northbound) and 120 seconds (Southbound). I wonder how long that will last when Wandsworth works start... I can see the benefit of saving time like in the 25 proposal but the difference there is no important link is lost.

To be honest, I don't think anyone wants to walk to a bus stop that there bus used to stop at. I think a lot of people in Tottenham had that same sentiment when the Gyratory with ripped out and bus routes changes were made.
