I understand part of Blackhorse Rd tube station car park will provide stand space for "T" and the "J" buses will turn near T Hale (where the 41 turned when the bus station was being rebuilt). I still think the lack of a bus link via Ferry Lane is a mistake. Forcing people on to the tube for a short distance is ridiculous given all the steps and walking distances involved. I also think it's stupid in the context of the part blockade - why dump people at Walthamstow when trains are running from South Tottenham. While not a massive distance who wants to walk from Seven Sisters to South Tottenham?

I understand route T buses will be standing at the St James Street bus terminus in Courtenay Mews. Route j buses as stated will be standing on the Burdock Road stands by Tottenham Hale.
Also note that there will NO WEEKEND TRAINS on the entire line from now until June 2017. The existing rail replacement bus routes will continue until the revised routes J and T (as discussed above) start operation on 4th June.

An update, buses on route T will stand inside Walthamstow Bus Station, as first stop will be stop C (same as routes 69/97). Also as from Sunday 1st May the replacement bus route changes will be advanced to start from this date, rather than 4th June, therefore passenger will need to transfer to the Victoria Line between Walthamstow and Seven Sisters. Buses will operate every 20 minutes until 4th June. However, there will be a Saturday train service in operation on 30th April and 28th May

An update, buses on route T will stand inside Walthamstow Bus Station, as first stop will be stop C (same as routes 69/97). I am very surprised about that. Unless there are some very strict ticket checks on the RRS buses then lots of people will go free on the RRS if they want parts of Leyton or Leytonstone. It will be the first time I can recall a RRS being allowed in Walthamstow Bus Station. They've tried to run LU RRS out of there before and the controllers have booted them out within minutes! I've seen it happen with my own eyes. I popped down to Blackhorse Road to visit the "roadshow" about the electrification. All it was was a few people handing out a tiny leaflet with barely any information on it at all. The staff were all crammed into the corridor round to the footbridge to the GOBLIN platforms which meant an almighty crush when people were getting off trains. Just to make matters worse LOROL cancelled the 1751 to Barking meaning a 30 min gap. I decided not to wait to see how horrific the crush became. I was astonished to see a member of staff on the platform actually making announcements. I assume the revised staffing arrangements in the LU station has at long last freed someone up to actually manage the crowding on the Barking platform (and about time too!). I noticed a few days ago that a couple of electrification masts have appeared near the Ferry Lane waterworks so something is happening.

Bases for the masts have also appeared between Upper Holloway and Crouch Hill stations

Just when I thought plans for the RRS were finalised, another late moment alteration, As from Sunday 1st May buses on route J will be every 30 minutes, not every 20. Route T will remain every 20 minutes.
Arriva has won back the contract for both routes, so should see a period of stability and reliability especially on route T which has been been very erratic over the past few months.

Is the person in charge of organising these services (hopefully not you Tangy!) in possession of a clue? What on earth is the point of running the services at different frequencies and at such low, and worse than the train service, frequencies? Do they want to ensure no one in their right mind would use them? Can you imagine walking out of Seven Sisters tube only to find the RRS bus roaring up the road and you face a 30 minute wait in the dark and the rain? Ludicrous. Both services should be every 15 minutes every day of the week.

Good job I rarely use this line these days.

Out of interest, what's the current status of the line on weekends before June hits as I may be using it this weekend?

We got a Saturday service last weekend because NR closed it on Sunday and Monday! Your last chance to use it on a weekend is May 28th when there is a service that day because the BH weekend allows a Sunday and Monday closure. I really need to take a toddle along it and take some photos of the "pre-electrification" railway although some masts have now been installed.

Interesting they're doing track lowering at Upper Holloway over the next two weekends. I also hadn't realised there was a swish enclosed waiting area at Upper Holloway on the w/b platform. (see video clip in the tweet)

I suppose this is logical, as London Overground is part soon to be full Arriva franchise. Do you know what vehicle type will be used? I hope long VWLs off route 221!
