TFL have proposed changes to routes 206 & 224 in Brent Park. Route 206 would be revised to loop Brent Park Tesco northbound and not serve Great Central Way or North Circular Road and instead be rerouted down drury way southbound. Route 224 would terminate at Brent Park Tesco instead of St. Raphaels and instead double run via St. Raphaels. It would also not serve Great Central Way or North Circular Road Southbound. I overall agree with this proposal as it makes both routes more direct and less confusing. I constantly hear talk of people getting the wrong bus at Brent Park and hopefully this will sort it out. It seems as though the 224 is becoming an entirely different route with all of these proposed changes. consultations.tfl.gov.uk/buses/206-224

Isn't there a new bus lane that crosses the A406 for these routes?

As a resident of Neasden who's suffered because of all the works simply for one bus route to benefit from it, this has left me extremely peeed off. The whole thing was done back asswards. Why not do the consultation first then judging on the results make the necessary changes?

Why not do the consultation first then judging on the results make the necessary changes? To be strictly accurate TfL were also doing remedial works to the big bridge at Neasden as well as the Brentfield Rd alterations. At least they co-ordinated the two bits of work rather than create congestion twice over. I do agree with you about the bus consultation process. Whatever the benefits were of the bus lane change they've just been halved by deciding to keep the 224 doing the "dive under" on s/b journeys. TfL may well end up with other routes using the bus lane at some point so it might eventually pay off but it seems mad to go to all this effort and expense and not consider that people might get the bus round from Tescos to the south side of the A406 because the footbridge is so bleedin' hideous to use. Perhaps they should have gone up there themselves and watched what people do / try to lug a shopping trolley over the bridge / talk to the bus drivers who drive the 206 / 224? Oh hang on we only look at computer screens and spreadsheets (sounds like me but I'm not planning the bus network )!
