I took some photos this afternoon of the new station as it nears completion. LBWF are also doing some roadworks to create what looks like a new cycle path along Argall Way. No sign of any bus stops or stands. www.flickr.com/photos/24759744@N02/albums/72157666160978041[Mods / Admins - ideally this post should be in the earlier thread about Lea Bridge stn but it's locked. If you want to unlock it and shove this post in the reopened thread that would be lovely.]

I'm thinking about doing the 2007 from LST for the "hairy" working via Stratford. In the new timetable there are some early morning workings out of LST that run via Stratford then up the Lea Valley Line. Imagine catching a Cambridge train and then see it not going left at Bethnal Green.

You're not the only one thinking to do the 2007 off LST to be honest, I'm hoping i can make it in time, hopefully i'll be able to fiddle and get away early. - I've not paid to much attention to WA new timetable, I imagine just the minor Timetable alterations, will people even notice which it takes. I've come across pax hoping from Knebworth or Welwyn North and ending up in Finsbury Park.

I'm away this weekend, but when I return to work on Tuesday, I will see it! Incidentally the station signage went up either Wednesday or Thursday!

Currently aboard 2O57 2007 LST - HFE via SRA, train will be calling at Lea Bridge, 2O57 being the first NB service to serve Lea Bridge. The auto announcements at LST Omitted Lea Bridge Station, as did the on board CIS on this 317, assuming we was serving Hackney Downs, Clapton, Tottenham hale and all stations

I'll pop along tomorrow at some point, opted not to bother with a "first train" today. At least the TfL Single Fares Finder, BRFares.com and National Rail website all seem to recognise the station's existence.

The station opened on Sunday 16th, with the first scheduled train actually being the second train to serve the station! The train in the opposite direction arrived first, and departed first, although we did stay on the platform for quite a tad. The southbound was held at a signal at the previous junction.
Notable thing: the AGA and TfL Oyster network maps did NOT say Lea Bridge existed, at Lea Bridge! Yet there are correct maps within Stratford!

I wrote it at 1am so I was pretty darn tired - it was 15th. Yup, I have photos too.
