As a result of the new Stratford scheme route 86 and 678 are 100% E400! This will mean WH Scanias are restricted to the 330 and 97 moving foward unless they get new blinds for the 474! That's only if they decide to not throw out non compliant buses of course moving forward like has happened with other green corridors.

That's true but today seemed the day for the swap first time ever (I think) there has never been a Trident on the 86. Also very rare for the whole 678 allocation to be E400.

Are operators penalised for putting non compliant buses on green corridors? If so, how much is the fine?

I wonder why Harrow Road wasn’t picked for the LEZ?

I wonder why Harrow Road wasn’t picked for the LEZ? Clearly the pollution levels on the Harrow Road are not as high as the other 12 sections of road. I know Putney High Street & a substantial part of the A23 through Brixton & Streatham were chosen because once Oxford Street saw hybrids along there and saw its pollution levels have decreased, those two sections were the worst polluted roads in London. Brixton Road is still currently the worst with Marylebone Road not too far behind.
