Hi all, I thought I'd start a thread where people could document the various "errors" on buses around London, including wonky/mismatched bumpers, wrong paint, roundels in wrong places etc. I spent about a month outside London recently and noticed how these sorts of errors are much less common, and it seems that TFL operators are much more sloppy when it comes to presentation. Of course I realise that there are already "Clapped Out Buses" and "Blind Banditry" threads, so please don't include anything which could go in those.
This is more to do with those errors which means that the bus does "look right", but isn't faulty etc.
For example: DE1001 has the wrong front bumper on the left, as it doesn't have the extra headlight, and it is also wonky.
I couldn't think of a better phrase than "error", but if anyone does feel free to change it. Also, if any mod thinks this thread is a waste of time/not useful please feel free to delete. Only a suggestion lol

It must be hard keeping to the 1950s tech plus getting a bus out on the road no matter what. Joe Public doesn't care for such blemishes though...

Not so much an error or fault (arguably), I believe the blame should be placed on Volvo. Several B5LH buses have a dent or a scratch somehwere along the rear bumper and offside skirts due to the rear overhang. Such a shame as some MMCs/MHVs/Gemini 3 and 2s have been affected pretty much from the get go! They shouldn't have to be ruined as such shortly after their introduction. Let's see how the VHRs fare...

DW251, DW37, T287, PDL121 and most of the ex 19 DW's at TC are missing Arriva logos on the front bumpers!

DW1 and DW35 are some of my all time favourite buses for having 2 separate seat moquettes!

A couple of the refurbished London United SPs seem to be missing "SCANIA" logos in the grey bit on the front. Looks somewhat bland. SP40201 (formerly SP201) for example:

Someone clearly wasn't thinking straight when they put the fleetnumber on the front right of PDL132 as PLD132

8522, 191 and 192 all have one front bumper which are supposed to be for new E200's and the other one is one for the old E200's!

8779 has its new numbers on the front (it was in an incident) as 8 7 7 9. And it's not even in the correct font! Also has a rear bumper for the elder E200's, as does 8785. That's how I can easily recognise them.
