Without peeking in your old ABCs (and you're honour bound here!): 1. What did RT973, Service Vehicle 701B, RTL551 and RF359 have in common? 2. Which garage operated only RTLs during its first period of operation? 3. Which were the first London Transport buses to carry 'reversed' registration numbers? 4. What did GS54 and RF630 have in common (as well as certain RTs)?

What about your last quiz, I had a go at it. ;D !) Too many clues, RTL 551 gave it away, all had reg plates +++ 1 2) Clapham 3) RW 4) Only thing I can think of that GS 54 and some green RT's had in common and that is loadmeters. I overhauled an RT with one once, they were distinquishable by having an extra detachable valance panel in front of the rear wheelarch on the O/S, It was a very rudimentary affair, just springs attached to the underside of the cushions on the L/S only I think, and connected by wires to a meter box. If a kid bounced up and down on the seat it could have doubled the scheduled buses per hour at the next revision ;D.

All correct.
I liked the Loadmeter story by the way. Never really knew anything about it. It's this sort of inside story that makes the hobby so fascinating. Many thanks
