Dunno why TfL bother consulting on proposed changes, as others have mentioned, it's clear they don't give a da*n about their 'customers' Their slogan "Every journey matters" - Yeah right it does!!

The U5 has been extended at the other end of its route from the stand just outside Bakers Yard in Uxb round to Park Road bu the side of the station. How is that working out - is it actually of any use? I've always found the habit of busses to turf out by what was 'the ostler' to be really annoying. If only all the stands by the station could be removed elsewhere (Park Road again?) perhaps more busses could serve the bus station proper.

Of course it matters, to them, the harder they make it for the bus companies the more they rake in in penalties.

An absolute dive but good for a late night drink on a Fri/Sat evening! I'm guess they've extended it up to Sainsbury purely due to the fact there is no more stand space in Uxbridge Bus Stn. But then if you look at Chippendale Waye/York Road, during the day, it's littered with all sorts of Carousel's buses, First with the 3 and Abellio with the U7, during the evening I often see UX's vehicles also parked up waiting to be parked up for the night. When the U5 & 427 go to Abellio, god knows where they'll stand! Didn't TfL stop passenger alighting outside the garage because it was deemed dangerous having to cross in front of buses entering/exiting the garage? Well it's a lot more dangerous now, getting turfed off in Belmont Rd and trying to cross the road! Look to your right and you can't see nothing coming up from the High Street cause you have 1, 2 or even 3 buses blocking your view......

I can only think that the bus station is TfL property, so if youre run over there its their liability, if youre run over just outside it though its your own problem. This is a huge trend within the bus service, bus stops slowly moving away from convenient interchanges, last stops being short of the ultimate destination. Its not a big thing by any means, but it makes everything just that little bit less pleasant, and more annoying. Are there actually more buses per hour now serving Bakers Yard than, say, 50-60 years ago when green line and country buses also dived in?

Sorry to bang on about this but, whilst my car is currently off the road, I've been catching the 350 to get into work, namely #105 which runs into Heathrow T5 at roughly 05:45. When I board, the bottom deck is almost full with a few up top, by the time we get to T5, there is a healthy number on top with people standing on the lower deck. That'll be a interesting journey come next month...... Glad I'll have my car back on the road by then!

Only 3 weeks until it changes.
