The new north ticket hall that links the Vic Line to Bressenden Place / Cardinal Place will open on Monday 16 Jan 2017 according to BBC London. I think this new link will give step free access to / from the Vic Line and street level. The second phase with a bigger Vic Line ticket hall and new link corridors and step free access to District & Circle won't be finished until 2018.

At last - although while passenger distribution should improve, we may not see an end to peak crowding mitigation.
Would the completion of works next year allow for 11/211 to resume their old eastbound routing via Terminus Place? Or is it safe to say that the Nova building development/ possible urban realm works on Terminus Pl. will make all diversions permanent?

In some respects the new ticket hall makes managing access to the Vic Line harder as two inward flows have to be monitored. Of course the main pressure will remain people coming from the Main Line. It will though take pressure off the exit flows via the existing ticket hall. I've no idea what is going to transpire at Terminus Place. I'd like to think buses will return but I suspect they won't as someone will demand extra space for pedestrians as you suggest.

The new ticket hall duly opened on Monday. Unfortunately I didn't get to see it as there was no tube service for about 1/3 of the service day! There are photos on the District Dave forum for those who are interested. I may be able to get there tomorrow - assuming the tube service is running and the stations aren't closed due to staff shortage.

Ahh so that's why it was only running from Victoria to Brixton for part of the day yesterday - nearly got a shock as I saw the poster saying about no service before seeing it mentioning Walthamstow Central to Victoria lol.

Broken rail at Euston apparently hence the length of closure. My MP has put something on Facebook which has since been shared on District Dave (where I saw it). I was supposed to be out and about today with a meet at Victoria this morning. It was cancelled for unrelated reasons but I am pleased I didn't have to try to get into town. The problem occurred at the precise moment I'd have been stepping out the door to head out!! Methinks the Vic Line Gremlins were lying in wait but I outwitted them.

I believe the plan is for them to return along with the 2,36,148 and 185 but that's only what I've heard, ie nothing 'official'!

Slowly but surely the capacity expansion project at Victoria crawls towards completion. The extra escalators in the Vic Line ticket hall have opened for service today. I think this just leaves the step free access lifts between the Vic ticket hall level, District Line and down to the Vic Line to be finished off plus the inevitable snagging works as well as surface level works including rebuidling the pub that was demolished on the corner of Bressenden Place / Vic St. (Not referring here to the step free facilities at exist in the North Ticket Hall)
