I was in Richmond last night and there was still a huge inconsistency in RATP blinds.: 33 to Hammersmith - no slipboard 33 to Hammersmith - Castelnau slipboard 33 to blank - no slipboard 419 to blank - Castelnau slipboard 419 to Hammersmith Bridge - no slipboard So we are a whole month after the changes were implemented and at least two months after the changes were proposed yet RATP are still incapable of having correct blinds, whilst other operators have managed to do so either ontime or just after. It's strange because some 419's actually had a sign about the changed route inside the bus while the 209 didn't. I've been on one that had Hammersmith on the main blind with Barnes Pond below. Of course during previous bridge closures many 72's south of the river displayed Hammersmith Bridge North Side. I assume because they didn't have Hammersmith Bridge South Side, Castlenau or even plain Hammersmith Bridge on the roll.

Bearing in mind since 1984 there are have periods of closure for the Bridge and the usual arrangement is for the 33 plus others from the south to terminate at the south side of the bridge I'm surprised it hasn't been mandatory for all buses that cross the Bridge to have Hammersmith Bridge on their blinds. In the mid 90s when it closed for a while it was the terminal, a few years ago it closed for a several weekends, again the 33, 209, 419 all could have used it then.

I was on a 419 which had a nice easy display on the drivers assault screen showing where it was going . Don’t see much of an issue if the 33’s show Hammersmith,

Saw a 533 depart lower level bus station at Hammersmith in the evening peak tonight, it was surprisingly well loaded for a route that runs every 30mins.

I never thought I'd say this but I think the 533 should get a frequency increase because of what a vital route it is to Castelnau and how popular its proved to be. I too have seen well used 533's north and south of the Thames and an increased frequency would help to alleviate overcrowding and as well as making the service more attractive

I agree, the current 209 is an absoloute waste and not worthy of the high frequency it has. I hope something is done to make the 209 more useful, preferably sending it back up to Hammersmith
Metroline will have plenty of spare DEs later on this year which should be put to use of the 533.

From Mortlake on the 533 to Hammersmith is probably not much longer then the 209 was to Hammersmith in reality so is probably quite a desirable option bar the freq and is possibly why the 209 is so lightly used to Putney Bridge.

I do think that TfL will make the 209 go back to Hammersmith or at least to the bridge, The TfL offical at the public meeting said they are currently looking at passengers numbers and will make changes. When asked how many 209 do they want back to the bridge the whole hall shouted all of them. Was confirmed it would take at least four weeks for any changes to be made. Despite the 33 having an increase the route can not cope. Just to see how unpopular the 209 is, on twitter type in @tfl 209.

I see the 209 spec when describing pinch points and curtailments fails to recognise the route no longer stops at Barnes Pond in either direction!

On both days of the weekend I found myself at Hammersmith Bus Station. I noticed 220's a very well loaded now. I used to use the 220 a lot and the loadings were never that heavy at weekends. Presumably the Hammersmith Bridge closure has pushed a lot of people on to the 220. Is the 220 struggling at peak hours with all the extra demand? I think it could do with some support up the Fulham Palace Road
