Yes, and as I said, a new traffic island has been installed which some have identified as making a turn more difficult. Where abouts is this Traffic Island? There is no traffic island issue afaik, or at least nothing has been brought to management attention anyway, the SEN’s had been out in route learning over the ‘new’ route for some weeks with no issues.

It’s still going to Joydens Wood, the iBus is just incorrect. Ah I thought the destination was renamed from Joydens Wood to Bexley Village not cut back. I’m not too knowledgeable on the Bexley area I had just thought it was a rename of Joydens Wood. Its an issue with the ibus API feed the buses are still running to Joydens Wood and still show Joydens Wood on their blinds until they reach St Marys Rd where they change blinds to Erith prior to commencing the loop. The ibus will require a further update as one of the curtailments is also missing on the system.

There's a E400 from GAL on the lifts at Metrobus Crawley this morning, one of the WTA spec ones. Presumably one having Euro6 mods so possibly one of the 403 examples which I don't believe have been modified yet That would be correct all the london euro 6 mods are currently being done at Metrobus Crawley.

I was just wondering the Ee38 spotted in abbey wood could it have been for the N1 instead of the 180? There has been Ee route tests based on the routes going out to tender next year. Route 180 goes out to tender as does the 63 which has a cross link with the N1.

Is this connected to driving hours? I had assumed most route 53 duties would be two rounders? I believe it is connected to driving hours A lot of duties are two rounders; some are 2 and 1 and visa versa. Then you have some like Dad was doing the other day. He ran light to Whitehall, worked it back to Woolwich and came off for meal relief. Then he took over in Woolwich, worked it to Whitehall and ran back to PD light. Some 20 minutes later he took over the same bus and ran light back to Whitehall and worked it back to Woolwich to finish. He got some pretty good duties on that rota! 😃 Its for similar reasons why some route 36 duties change over at Camberwell New Road (Sacred Hearts School) now with drivers on those duties having breaks at Camberwell garage. Only affects a few duties.

As I've already mentioned, there aren't enough of the 65reg MEC batch for the 108's allocation (excluding the NX workings using the EIs). I'm only going off what I've heard elsewhere, whether it's true or not is a different thing. That said, there should be 16 65 reg MEC's (including the one currently impounded) which means two existing MEC's could be retained if they decide to do this. The 358 MEC’s will be returned off lease and wont be moving to the 108. The 108’s MEC’s are euro 6 now so are to contract specification.

Wright Solar’s do the route, not Citaro’s Thanks for reminding me, no idea why I thought Citaro's They do have a couple of MEC’s (rigid Citaro’s) on the shuttle which the SE’s are supplementing due to the problems affecting operation of the Solars.

It has been asked several times on here what happens when a double decker on the 286 gets to Queen Mary's Hospital in Sidcup. Was there today. It stands on the stop in the parallel road a very short distance from the normal stand. There is a large and low branch on a tree by the normal stand. They miss the first two stops and circumnavigate the Frognal roundabout and start from the stop on Chislehurst Road. The company has to pay the mileage for it, its not ideal but prevents damage by any low tree branches occurring.
