Rollout of new Docklands Light Railway trains delayedDocklands Light Railway (DLR) trains that were due to be introduced in April will not be ready until later this year.www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cxrrd6461d1o
Well that's a dxmn shame. I wonder how much longer the B90/92/2K stock can hold out for. They're starting to show their age now.

Similar to what happened on the Central line where they did the same as the CLIP should have started and finished by now, but covid got in the way.

I like them but they really are showing their age, not sure what train specifically but one was slightly shuddering weirdly when I was riding the DLR yesterday. Although the trains usually shake due to the lighter wheels (?) but this was unusual

Although the trains usually shake due to the lighter wheels (?) but this was unusual I agree the older trains are really starting to look worn out. I can’t help but also notice how dirty some of the trains are internally!

OK this is becoming a joke now. Like seriously what the heck is this. It's almost like nothing can go 100 percent to plan. This better not be another Elizabeth Line moment

OK this is becoming a joke now. Like seriously what the heck is this. It's almost like nothing can go 100 percent to plan. This better not be another Elizabeth Line moment Well down to too much red tape in this country I would say it's down to poor requirements identification and specification. Companies know they have to bid low to get the work. They know the specifications will either be 'wooly', or will be changed, resulting in changes to the contract. It is these changes that the suppliers know they have the government over a barrel, and is how they make money by overpriced amendments. If solid requirements are identified and those requirements are set in stone things would be so much cheaper
