The way I understand it the Jubilee Line's fleet schedule is dependant on the completion of the Camden Town upgrade¹ on the Northern Line, where afterwards the Jubilee Line can cascade the 96s over and recieve its newbies. Therefore the New tube for London destined for the Piccadilly Line will still likely happen first anyhow. ¹ ‐ and splitting into Northern Line 1/Northern Line 2 Would the New Tube for London actually work on the Jubilee line in that will the doors line up with the PEDs. No they wouldn't, The NTfL stock has three sets of double doors per carriage while the 1996TS has two sets of single leaf doors on each end of the carriage and two sets of double doors in-between. I would imagine however the NTfL design can be adapted.

As the Jubilee line uses 7 car trains, the new stock would be 10cars Not sure how they would space the doors to fit existing platforms edge doors

I suspect the Jubilee Line may receive different variants from those as I'm not sure if 'all' the 96s are leaving for the Northern Line.

Have noticed from Canada Water (05:12) to Canary Wharf the train's motor tone starts to go slightly higher¹ from 06:14, peaking around 06:30 til 06:50. This is somewhat reminisant of Stagecoach's ALX400 Tridents which had their kickdown tweeked up in their later years, increasing engine revv prior to changeup. youtu.be/c9U4Dqq4XcQ¹ - faster top speed along that section

Is it just that train doing that or is it part of the refurbishment? And does it happen anywhere else on the line?

Yeah it does. Is it just that train doing that or is it part of the refurbishment? And does it happen anywhere else on the line? I imagine it's a slight tweek of the ATO software in relation to scheduling, perhaps to trim off general travelling time here and there. The Northern Line between Highgate and East Finchley was similary tweeked up from being moderate speed with on-off acceleration to smoother acceleration with a higher tunnel speed up to near enough where it ends prior to East Finchley. Back to the Jubilee Line the same slightly higher pitch in motor noise is also evident eastbound from Canada Water (40:44) to Canary Wharf, which it reaches up to alot sooner after leaving Canada Water. At 41:22 was the pitch level sound before the tweek up whereas 41:36 pitch level is now the new top speed...perhaps 3 or 4mph quicker who knows but likely reducing overall journey times end to end. youtu.be/YB_7ZyD_5HII imagine it's also the same westbound from Bermondsey to London Bridge.
