DE1911 (the Metroline YX11CNY Enviro 200 MMC that has the blue E6 route branding) is mostly on it's allocated route: the 95. Metroline should've carefully chosen that the bus they were selecting to go for the route branding, was actually allocated to the E6 and stays on the E6. I agree. Since the Hayes branding exercise was announced, DE1911 has appeared on the E6 for a total of 4 days with it spending the rest of its time on the 95, only about 25% of the time. Maybe that’s what they meant with only 25% of the buses being branded. They will only put it out on the correct route 25% of the time. Maybe someone at Metroline had read this forum or G have finally got their act together as now DE1911 is finally sticking strictly to its branded route of E6 for the last couple of weeks

Look at came in the post. It’s a Hayes spider map and it’s based on the route branding.

Why does the leaflet have a picture of a woman doing the splits whilst jumping on the front ?
If she takes few steps forward will be right over the Mayor of London with her legs apart ....

This leaflet hasn't been spared the usual TfLs errors ...
Uxbridge for N207 Uxbridge Station for 427, 607, A10, U5 & U7
BUT Belmont Road for U4 Bulls bridge Tesco for E6 should have a capital B and an apostrophe (Bull's Bridge...)
Heathrow has had its Airport dropped (Heathrow Bus Station & Heathrow T5).
However at least "Bus Station" is correct despite it being different from what's on the on-bus branding (Bus station)!
Also I can't understand why "Court" in "Brentford County Ct." for 195 has been abbreviated when nothing else has been...

From what I can see, she is doing a sort of ballerina jump whilst playing on the phrase of "catch the bus". I get what you mean though.

I look forward to receiving one of those leaflets through my front door. After all TfL thought E17 is Barkingside so are just as likely to believe Hayes is also E17. (rolls eyes)

I live on the 140 route and nothing yet! So when will the SELs on the 90 get the route branding?

I have actually been thinking along those lines for years, TFL should have taken the opportunity when they rolled out the LTs to individually brand them for the route they were assigned to, showing amenities, stations and tourist sites. That would be an effective way to respond to the downward trends in Central London bus usage, encouraging demand rather than taking routes away. Alas, post-subsidy grant and in the mess TFL is in at the moment, such a scheme probably wouldn't gain much traction now.

I think all new buses should have this feature with better information on links and amenities. Another welcome addition for me is mixing the TA1 branding (showing features in the bus) with this.

No network brands every bus in their fleet

I like the branding BUT not a fan for London as I have posted before. Just say for example the 15 was branded these buses would be on the 5 and EL routes within days as you already see with the ELT branding. The downside of listing places served means intending passengers could catch a bus in the wring direction if they only pay attention to the side of a bus (Especially tourists).
I would much rather all buses have the updated iBUS screens internally.
This is just my view.
