VH45157 has had its side RATP logo moved so now it is behind the drivers window Doesn’t matter where it’s put, it’s a sell out and looks naff. Even if they had retained LU/LS on the front that would have been something.

Stagecoach, Arriva, Metroline and Abellio all don't have the subsidiaries and Go Ahead have it in lettering so small that it's almost impossible to see from a distance. What matters is a punter can identify the bus operator should crimes, theft, lost property etc happen and the new RATP logo if anything is probably better for that person as it emphasises the name the operator actually goes by.

Abellio excused as they weren’t around at deregulation, personally I miss the character of East London, Selkent, London Northern , London Central, London General, centrewest etc brought to the London scene together with some great liveries. RATP have made a decision to further remove that history. a Brexit bitter french move perhaps.

Yeah, however historic character is hardly in a company's best interests and neither is in the public interest either. Someone at RATP probably just realised they could save money on vinyl prints.

The fact is the proper London United died in the early 2000s when the coat of arms was retired. In the grand scheme of things it really isn’t a big deal, regular passengers don’t really pay attention to company names and besides if this is only being rolled out on new, including new to RATP as in secondhand, and refurbished fleet it could be a long time before the names disappear completely. Likely to be placed on the ex-Quality Line fleet when it moves to TV as well. Everyone just needs to calm down.

For consistency with the frog faces the ratp logo could have gone behind the drivers seat as well but nah.

Why have Metroline have painted where the logo is red on these and not the 139 VWHs.

I wonder why VWH2044 has been refurbished as the 125 has been lost?

I wonder why VWH2044 has been refurbished as the 125 has been lost? I wonder if the 125 VWHs may move to Cricklewood for the 332, with the MMC hybrids departing?

Perhaps a few more VWHs will move to W - the 139 currently only has 24 VWHs out of the 26 required (though might be allocated 1 TEH as well). Another possibility could be for some of PB's VWHs to be reallocated to the 317, with the VMHs being moved to G for the E9 (plus a few from the 113's frequency cut).

I believe the 139 allocated with 2 TEHs rather than 1.

Why couldn’t the VWHs just go to G for the E9 instead of going onto the 317 and sending the VMHs?
