Sadly T187 wasn't refurbished despite being off the road for a month, much to my disappointment when I saw this bus on the 368 earlier in the week What a waste of a month out of service and no other Ts from DX were refurbished. DX T's refurbishments are being very slowly done, I feel they should have been done before Arriva start giving the go ahead for more T's from other garages to be done, very sloppy work from Arriva in my opinion leaving a contracts refurbishment half done and having one T done now and then. It is quite irritating since DX must be one of Arrivas worst garages in terms of condition of buses and maintenance, you see all sorts come out of DX - It's not even the area they are in and the people using it that cause that, it is purely down to poor maintenance. There could of been a good reason why it's out for service - as for refurbs, there are a number of buses need to be done at various garages and it would take far longer if they did it one route at a time.

How is it a waste? There could be reasons why it was off the road for so long. The Ts will all eventually be refurbished. Also you just assumed it was refurbished by “Armchair LVF observations”, whilst busoccultation confirmed it wasn’t refurbished. There could be a reason why the refurbishments have stopped. Something similar happened with the 160s Ts, T293, T298 and T297 were done and wasn’t anymore for a few months. What companies realistically refurbish an entire fleet of buses before the contract? They have to find somewhere for it to be done and book them and also find cover buses. Very rarely does this happen before the start of a contract. TB are still refurbishing the last few Enviro200s for the 314 as I’ve seen a few new refurbished ones recently.

104 08/12/2018 In Progress E127, 128, 130, 136, 186, 187, 189-193, 207, 212, 228, 276-280.WVL332, 446 E: 127, 128, 186, 189, 190, 191, 192, 228, 277, 278, 279, 280 E130 was done prior to the start of the 104's contract, WVL332/446 was refurbished few months ago though both WVL's are predominantly used on the 5 and E212 has just returned from refurbishment at HD trim last week.
257 14/10/2017 In Progress 10155-10162 10159, 10161, 10162 179 29/09/2018 In Progress 10172-10183 10179 19848 & 10156 are both refurbished for the 257. 10173, 10176, 10178 & 10181 are all done for the 179 as well.

There are various buses at [DX] unfit etc up for MOT, so there is no way buses would be sent away for a tarting up to put the buses available for service at a tighter string. If garages like [E] or [AD] have spare T's that can be done, they would be sent in place. There is no plan to 100% do batch by batch

Hello DT11: The following have been done for ROUTE 252: 10169, 10170, 10171 The following are currently in refurbishment: 10165 The following are left to be refurbished: 19836, 19837, 19838, 10166, 10167, 10168, 10199, 10200, 10201, 10202, 10203. 19836/37/38 are already refurbished and was done around 2017 for the 199 while it was at TL so it is unlikely for those three buses to be refurbished again for the 252.

8787 is not part of the 490 allocation and was already refurbished as part of the 433 contract

Does anyone know which of the ADHs have been/are yet to be refurbished? From my casual observations I know ADH45022 and 45039 have both seen refurbishment but I don't know anything further

The only one still in service that has not yet been refurbished is E158. WVL435 also has not been refurbished. That WVL is allocated to the 337 so 2 buses still to be refurbed. Yes that's true. The 62 plate WHV are still to be refurbished as well.
