youtu.be/dH-gMSEgLHkThe first time I had spotted this change of the line of route for buses terminating at WC Bus Station, I thought that the Westfield extension had reached a new milestone, now accommodating a quicker journey between Shepherds Bush and the bus station, but also boasting a HUGE bus stand for all bus routes! The first bus I took through the extension was Metroline's refurbished DE1017 on route 316 - I then turned around in the opposite direction to film - got on an ordinary VP on route 260. What I love about the extension as it will be under the Westfield extension! Careful planning has allowed for amazing solutions like these and I strongly believe that everyone involved has done an outstanding job. Enjoy the ride!

Is the old tramshed going to be demolished or will buses eventually return to stand inside it?

If Westfield could have got rid of it when building phase 1 of Westfield London they would have done I'm sure. I thought it was remaining in bus use but I may be out of date on that.

When we passed there last year the entrance was boarded up, presumably used as storage for construction materials. I didn't know where the temporary bus stand was until that video, suggesting that the tramshed is still being used for storage or, as Emma mentioned, may be in the process of being prepared for its new role.

The new stand is absolutely gigantic! I'll show you one of Tower Transit's route training videos - youtu.be/cWavVrwToQY

All those fancy traffic lights on each bay to maintain. As if drivers don't know how to reverse a bus. As already said that's a tremendous amount of extra mileage and time needed in the schedules compared to driving a few metres to stand.
