The 151/470 idea was actually somebody elses idea so I won't take any credit for that, I just happened to think it was a very good one. As for the 80 to Tooting Broadway, I just happened to think the Morden/Colliers Wood link deserves a bit more than a half hourly 470 even if it does shadow the Northern Line. I don't think it would be practical for the 80 to go via the hospital but better going near it than not at all. I don't understand why it wouldn't be practical to directly serve the hospital? I can't imagine that the hospital would want anymore buses going through the grounds although it could possibly go via Blackshaw/Fountain Road and Garratt Lane?

I like the idea of the 96 going to Darent Valley. It is an obvious yet positive change.

But that's exactly where I mentioned it would go - via the 155, 264 & 280 which is Blackshaw Road, Fountain Road & Garratt Lane.

Well it could go that way or it could go straight along the main road like the 57,131 and 219 do.

Off topic I know but, was on the 282 travelling from Ealing Hospital to Mount Vernon Hospital, the two termini of the route, and wondered what other if any routes have a hospital at each end. Also which route visits the most hospitals, visiting meaning actually going into the grounds. And which hospital has the most routes, meaning a bus stop inside the grounds.

True the roundabout is just outside the hospital but it's not counted as terminating at hospital. Route357 finishes at the roundabout Mon to Sat and hospital on Sunday when it becomes single decker and has a different destination blind.

The 46 serves St Barts, Eastman, Royal National ENT, St Pancras, Royal Free, Wellington and St Mary's Hospitals. Even if you minus the specialist/private hospitals this routes serves the most hospitals. It has a hospital at each end but only terminates at one of them.
The 205 is second from what i can see Whitechapel, Moorfield Eye, UCH, Western Opthalmic Hospital and St Mary's Hospital.
I think Guy's Hospital with 14 bus routes is most served by buses With 12 buses at UCH in second.

The 211 matches the 205 in serving 5 hospitals: St Thomas', Royal Brompton, Royal Marsden, Chelsea & Westminster and Charing Cross. Although none of these routes enter the grounds of said hospitals, which is what the original question was about.

I think Guy's Hospital with 14 bus routes is most served by buses with 12 buses at UCH in second. How close to the hospital do the bus routes have to go because technically, King's College Hospital has 12 if you count the Coldharbour Lane routes (the 35, 40, 42, 45, 68, 176, 185, 345, 468, 484, N68 & X68).

Not far away is Northwick Park Hospital which has 5 - the 186, 223, H9, H10 & H14 The 182, 483 & N18 also pass outside the grounds.

I don't think you can count the X68 lol
