Is it yet confirmed if all of the remaining Crossrail proposals are still going ahead (such as around Southall, Abbey Wood and Custom House)? Or will there be any amendments, such as extending the E1 to Osterley instead of the previously proposed 112 or E10?
If so, presumably the changes will take place when the relevant section of the Elizabeth Line opens? I wonder why the 218/306/etc changes did happen on time, rather than waiting until trains at Acton Main Line continue beyond Paddington?

No changes confirmed as of yet, the 241 has a provisional date of the 15th Jan but this is linked to the South Newham consultation. The 241 change (Elizabeth Line or South Newham proposals) can only really go ahead at the same time as the 474 change.

Because the Paddington to Reading section was ready hence why it's changes went ahead whilst the Abbey Wood & Custom House ones haven't. The 301 & 497 were brand new routes and went ahead once their routings were ready.

I can also understand delaying the Southall proposals, as some of these are linked to developments there. However, I wonder why the E1's Osterley extension didn't go ahead from the start of its new contract at RATP (with TFL Rail services running at Ealing Broadway)?

Was the E1 extension decided at the time or was it still planned for the E10 instead?

Noticed today the new bus stand at Custom House Station is being dug up! Guessing a problem has been found with the layout.
Could be a sign the a test has taken place and the route changes will take place early next year.

I always thought the entrance looked quite narrow for buses to be turning into, will be interesting to see what changes...

A new bus stop with route 304 tile has been installed on the new Custom House Station Bus stand! It’s missing a this bus stop closed sign let’s hope nobody waits for a bus there!
Looking more and more likely the Elizabeth line will be open by early Spring and associated bus changes will take place (Both the Elizabeth and south Newham ones).

Really do hope so, the lack of the Northern Line would be made so much easier if I could just get that line into work rather than fighting the buses.

Wasn't sure the best place to put this! Was there a plan to extend the 300 to Stratford at one point? if so what route would it have taken?
I have looked at the South Newham proposal from 2014 and that suggested the 300 would run to Custom House station.
Edit : found it in the document
Thanks

A new yellow box has emerged in the past week at the High Street North/Lonsdale Avenue junction. Interestingly the box straddles the northbound High Street North lanes, which doesn't normally clog up in that direction.
It's all systems go for the 104 to be redirected towards Beckton Station from this observation. Unfortunately I couldn't see a new stop near the junction in question, I shall have a proper nosey tomorrow.

What concerns me is how much notice passengers are going to have as some of the changes are fairly major with the 300 switching direction and the same for passengers in Freemasons Road heading to Canning Town either having to travel on the 300 via Barking Road or walk to Custom House station to pick up the 474. I also think the 104/304 is going to catch a lot of people out too!

I never said otherwise but passengers still need notice these are the first major changes in Newham in many years and a small notice on a bus stop is not really enough!

I never said otherwise but passengers still need notice these are the first major changes in Newham in many years and a small notice on a bus stop is not really enough! The issue with putting notices too far in advance is people read them, then ignore and forget about them. When the change eventually happens everyone has forgotten and then there's mass confusion.
