Thought this would be an interesting topic to see what operators that don't currently operate in London, you'd like to see run in London
To start off with it would be nice to see Rotala run in London, being one of the only 'bigger' operators to not run in London (Other than First), it would also be nice to see First make a re-entry into London, and finally I also think Ensignbus Would be an interesting one to see run in London

We have, of course, seen Ensign for many years when they ran sightseeing services in Central London. They also offered single fares on many of the routes they ran. Don't Rotala own one of the businesses running services for SCC into Kingston or am I confused again? There are rumbling rumours that Rotala are on a buying spree including something based at Heathrow after they made an Alternative Investment Market announcement recently. They've just bought Hansons who run in the West Midlands. otp.investis.com/clients/uk/rotala/rns/regulatory-story.aspx?cid=182&newsid=900596

I mean like TFL contracted services, rather than services independent of TFL OK then - that rather restricts the innovation that some operators might bring in. The obvious suspects are Go Coach - probably just small scale routes Lothian Buses Reading Buses Nottingham City Transport Harrogate and District (part of Blazefield who have, of course, run in London before) Ensignbus (even though they never ever will as TfL are too restrictive for their tastes) OK Travel (long gone I know but they were probably my favourite North East independent operator) There's no point in quoting any companies that are part of a big group so that rules out Oxford Bus Co or Brighton and Hove. I'm not bothered about First Group - far too inconsistent across their company. They have good pockets of operation but too many places are poorly run. There are few remaining operators of any great note or distinction left. Too many decent independents have given up or been bought out. The rest is all large groups who are strongly represented in London already and who have good and bad operations right across the country so it's a bit meh.

I also agree with Ensign - I really wish they would consider TfL tendering again.

Would be interesting to see if the National Express Group can make it third time lucky in London bus operations

I would quite like to see Carousel have a stab at some TfL work. With the backing of Go-Ahead, I reckon they could make a real go of it if they wanted to.

Rumour has it that rotala has a few companies it had its eye on with its expansion plans with rumour that one of them being an airport business but whether that is at Heathrow or Manchester I'm not to sure however it would be nice seeing them run some TFL services

The Go-Away Group control Carousel so it wouldn't be much if any different from how GAL currently operate in London under many names such as Blue Triangle, metrobus ect ect

Quite a dead run for Lothian if they bag the 318
