Why should I in my Bexley council tax subsidise TFL buses, where people in Dartford get the service but pay nothing. I understand your point completely but people in London want to get to Dartford although if Bluewater didn't exist I doubt if there would be any TfL routes going any further east.

Why should I in my Bexley council tax subsidise TFL buses, where people in Dartford get the service but pay nothing. Because there are many journeys undertaken by Londoners that start in London & go into Kent like Dartford & Bluewater.

Why should I in my Bexley council tax subsidise TFL buses, where people in Dartford get the service but pay nothing. The same reason I do. Because the London Borough of Bexley shares a border Dartford Borough and people in Bexley need to cross the border for work, school, medical appointments, family and friends etc.

So why cannot Dartford Council or Kent County Council contribute for their local services, instead of looking to make tax cuts.

What gives you any sort of right to say where people are allowed to travel to? It’s appallingly selfish.

Everyone is quick to,come up with new ideas, they want included in their pass that costs them no additional cost to travel. Life does not always work life that. Would they be so keen and supportive if it was outside the TfL ticketing scheme?

Yes he is - it’s better that a link exists regardless of who funds it than being removed just because your not happy with who or how it’s funded. Just more anti transport rhetoric on here as usual

The first IE (IE21) has now arrived in the UK, it was seen at NX on a low-loader. They are due for deployment by April 2025, in the interim Go-Ahead will use Mercedes Citaros (MEC) released from routes 108 and 358. Two pantograph-based opportunity chargers will be provided, one at Gravesend Bus Station and the other at Acacia Hall in Dartford. Work on the infrastructure will begin at the end of August. www.route-one.net/news/first-irizar-ie-tram-for-kent-fastrack-brt-network-is-delivered/
