Appears that RATP have only used 2 of their Versa in August, 3 seemed to stop 31 July, must be close to total withdrawal.
Seems hard to believe that at one time there were 1000+ of each Trident ALX400 and Plaxton President, as now just a few stragglers remain

I doubt there will be any pre 2006 bus(EuroIII) in London by around winter. It's weird to think that after the last few Plaxtons and ALX's won't be around very soon, and we will start to see numbers of Euro 4 Enviro 400 start to leave. Time has truly flown and I wish Stagecoach would do a farewell tour and put the last few ALX's on the 8 for example

Time has truly flown and I wish Stagecoach would do a farewell tour and put the last few ALX's on the 8 for example Most recent list, taken from another thread Of these the Abellio 3 might see out K1 contract, the RATP SPs probably last to Easter school holidays (after 94 electric bus cascade), Stagecoach 19000 probably survive a year, and Sullivan 3 depends on when they can source buses about 5-9 years old, but agree remainder probably gone by winter as Arriva lose 197 and 128, GoAhead could replace LDPs after 100 gets new buses, and most of the others are just spares. Abellio : 8020, 8024, 8037 Arriva : DW 098, 099, 101, 102, 104-111, 113-117 Arriva : VLA 057, 116, 126-143 Go Ahead : LDP 206, 274 Go Ahead : PVL 284 Go Ahead : WVL 111, 119, 189, 204, 205, 238-240, 249, 250 Metroline : TA 642, 648 Metroline : VP 534, 549, 614 RATP : SP 40001-40009 Stagecoach : 17791, 17811, 17836, 17843, 17858, 17864, 17979, 17981, 18208, 18465, 18484, 18494 Stagecoach : 19000 Sullivan : ELV 06 Sullivan : TPL 926, 927

I also notice VP549 has been resurrected after a week off and is on the 460 at the time of writing - Great to see. That'll probably cling on a few more months until the VMHs at PB go to PA to allow the 4 VWHs on loan to return to AC. At current it looks promising as the OMEs aren't even in service, and pretty much the amount of time they don't enter service for is how long VP549 has left - As well as extra time on top with transfers of the VMHs to PA and VWHs to AC.

Hence why I mentioned that particular one.

Looks like Metroline has only had one Trident ALX400 in service over last 7 days
With the Stagecoach ones now gone, appears to be last one (unless Sullivan revive their pair when new school term starts, both last used July)

For a type synonymous with Stagecoach (and I think to some extent RATP) it does feel a little odd the last one on the road is Metroline. Still, I'm not complaining.

As for TPL926/927 coming back, it depends on how quickly Euro VI upgrades on the DS take place, but considering it is the holidays, this has probably sped up the process.

Today is the last day of Arriva VLAs so Volvo double deck chassis B7TL will now be rare in London
Used to be very common, it succeeded the Volvo Olympian chassis about 20 years ago Now just handful with GoAhead (early WVL) and handful with Metroline (VP class) remain in use
And these are the last Alexander bodied B7TLs in London

I hope they survive into 2020 (Possible on the 127) just to say they are part of the 2020s.
