The one thing I'm now waiting for is for Camden Town to be rebuilt as that's the one thing that's holding up the northern line returning back to it's original state in it's own right. I think if and when the split takes place the High Barnet branch will take the Charing Cross branch whereas the Edgware branch will take the Bank branch. It will be High Barnet via bank and Edgware via Charing Cross

What about Mill Hill East? Will that be closed? Through service to be restored in new timetable after the Bank closure

I sort of agree with you; I don't see why the Northern Line has to be spilt when the District Line can manage with having plenty of official routes

Not a fan of splitting the line and having to change at Camden Town. Unfortunately there will be fewer trains up to High Barnet. It appears to be a reduction from 20 to 16 trains per hour. The 4 trains each hour will divert to Mill Hill East, alternating between the Charing Cross and Bank branches. This way, the Northern Line can still use the same amount of trains they currently have to run the service to Battersea Power Station

Why can't these short-running trains be shared with the Edgware branch with two of them reversing at Golders Green?

Thanks, doesn't mention the reduction to High Barnet though. Guess they want keep that quiet. God I despise Heidi Alexander: typical modern-day managerial type with no discernible skill or expertise in anything she is inexplicably put in charge of. Reminds me of Dido Harding.

My two favourite Northern line station has to be Finchley Central and Brent Cross. Mill Hill East isn't that far behind but those station I love going there especially when the weather is hot.

Some of the diagram stickers in the carriages have changed to show the Battersea extension, the removal of the Mill Hill East Shuttle, Overground connection between Archway and Upper Holloway and trams at South Wimbledon.

Will the extension run on both Central London branches?

Will the extension run on both Central London branches? Only the Charing Cross Branch as Battersea trains will use part of the Kennington Loop to get to/from Kennington. Bank trains having no tunnel access to the Loop.
