Is it bad that I've never boarded a StreetLite before? I've even been on a Solo, but not a SL

Don't think I've yet done a bus on the old East Lancs body nor a Spryte, or a Lowlander Myllenium. I can't remember if I've done an Irizar electric or not 🤔 Nearest Lowlanders for you are on the 357 from Selsdon to Reigate or 409 from Selsdon to East Grinstead - both routes with Southdown PSV or if you fancy a day in Southend, they did have some in the summer on the 29. Good luck finding Spryte Darts as most were Euro II and probably gone for scrap by now. Out of the electric stuff in London, I've the Streetair, Electric MMC, OCE & electric Irizar to ride - overall, I think I missed the WNH, OMH, Ethanol SP, WDH, HEV & HOV in terms of hybrids & electrics no longer in London . I've snapped a Spryte when I was in Cambridge once, but that day I wasn't there to do buses - and now these are gone! As for the Sussex and Surrey routes, I'm meant to do a bash soon and keep putting it off xD For 357 I would of course want a double-decker. Ahh, that reminds me I never did the WNH - but wasn't enough of a bus buff back then to have had the chance. Or the DD103 - very disappointed these left London in fact!! Bloody shame that was! Still waiting for them hydrogen deckers to come round to LI! Realistically it had to be 2014 onwards for me to actually go around the city More types I never did and haven't yet listed -- Scania E400s and MMCs have so far evaded me - my closest was an attempt at Detling but somebody distracted me Not ridden the long MCV bus (one that looks like sd DD103 basically). On top of my head only done one Scania E200 ever, likewise with a Transbus E200. Out of oldies, believe it or not - I've never done an RF!! Or a Leyland National. Or a Daimler Fleetline. Or anything Bristol. You haven't lived I know, doesn't stop me from sometimes getting upset about missing out things that happened before I was born, or were very little - or really anything before November 2007, as prior that I still lived in Poland xD A girl from a Polish 40K-inhabitant town was never to stray around the Metropolis of London for a time to come Not like my Parents belonged to the patient type putting up with their child's bus rides all day anyway; a tour round Oprington and Bromley's best routes (320, R8, R5, 353, 464) alone was quite an experience for my Mum to survive that one time

Is it bad that I've never boarded a StreetLite before? I've even been on a Solo, but not a SL Ive always had a soft spot for the Solo, as it is probably the reason why I got into buses into the first place. As for the Streetlite...... you ain't missing out

As for the Streetlite...... you ain't missing out I figured. I love the look of it, but it's just essentially an E200 with a Voith gearbox.

They're okay I guess but the E200MMC is far better.

Or the DD103 - very disappointed these left London in fact!! Bloody shame that was! Don't Golden Tours have a fair number of DD103 bodied Volvos on Sightseeing and the Harry Potter studio shuttle? Not cheap to travel on either but the possibility is there.

They're okay I guess but the E200MMC is far better. I've done the following Streetlites at least once: Go-Ahead London - a 39 WS, 192 WS (both the original batch & current batch), 219 WS, 327 WS, 462 WS, 491 WS and have plans to do a 355 WS at some point Tower Transit - a 444 WV, First London - the sole WM whilst on a shuttle route at Cobham Bus Rally (I did this along the A3), Arriva London - a 450 SLS Arriva Kent Thameside - a 477 example Quality Line - a 463 WS

Regarding StreetLites, I have only ever been on them on Arriva route 321 between Watford and Luton, but as that's one of my local routes I travel on them as much as just about any other type. StreetLites in London have always seemed to operate in areas I don't tend to visit but I have been coming across them more often this year as more have been delivered, so it probably won't be too long before I ride one.

I've never been on an E200MMC due to lack of them in my area, but I've been on an E400MMC down with Stagecoach South so basically just a bigger version really, I suppose I'll get to test both out eventually with a few contracts up for tender around my area

I can't think of any vehicle type on any London buses that I haven't been on. There are 2 examples outside London I can think of:-
Volvo B5TL-EvoSeti, as East Yorkshire have
StreetAir, as Lothian Buses have

Outside London, VDL SB200 I haven't been on... Would have loved a journey on MDL1 (was at NP, went back to RR but dont know where it is now ) That's an SB180. I rarely have journeys for fun anymore but a proper ride on a Euro6 B5LH would be good, but I'll wait until the current rollout for the 243 finishes (2020? ) Of Vintage types, V1, the Voith Ailsa would be good. I've ridden on Bristol VR's on the Isle of Wight, and seen enough Atlanteans (on the 65 and 373)
