Unless the stand from the 159 is needed for the 414 or worse still the 94. If that is the case then maybe a stand for the 113 by Selfirdges may be created. Portman Square from the north would cut just slightly too short of Oxford Street really but would be good for the 94. A stand for the 94 would be the best option but would have to be on Portman Square itself and preferably on the south side of the square which would likely see no complaints as it's just offices there. A 113 standing at Portman Square would lose common interchange at Selfridges and Marble Arch itself whereas a 94 wouldn't. If the 94 could stand there then atleast it could still serve the Marble Arch Station stop outside Primark and a stop next to Selfridges as opposed to Marble Arch/Bayswater Road being the first/last stop which would be very off putting to walk that far.

I think it was mentioned that the 414 would terminate at Lancaster Gate, presumably using the ex-46 stand. So probably makes sense for the 113 to share stand/turning arrangements with the 189, with routeing common via Baker Street. I expect the 94 would have a new stand introduced when cut back, either near Portman Square, or on North Row as previously proposed. The 159 can use the ex-113 stand for now (next to the 7's stand), until the road layout changes take place around Oxford Circus.

The consultation results for the 414 haven't been released yet so not sure how certain it is that it will run to Lancaster Gate. Not sure another route down the Bayswater Road would be a good thing it may make TFL look at the others again like they did with the 148.

The Oxford Circus transformation looks like it will be delayed. There was a plan to create temporary plazas either side of Oxford Circus in time for Christmas, and to test how the pedestrian zones worked before refurbishing the area on a permanent basis. These have been put on hold as there have been local objections to even this more limited closure of Oxford Street, and Westminster Council will carry out more consultations and concentrate on the permanent scheme. Whilst it is likely that Oxford Circus will be pedestrianised eventually it won't be happening this year, so the remaining bus routes in the area will not need to be diverted just yet. Maybe they would like to move the mound to Oxford Circus. Or recreate the River Tyburn.

I did walk down North Row the other day. Not sure if the plan has been to stand in the first block or the 2nd block. Between the junctions Park Street and New Audley Street there is quite a bit of space to stand 2 or even 3 buses. Buses would then turn onto Oxford Street at the junction opposite Marks & Spencer.
The advantage of the North Row stand as if buses drop off and pick up there then its still serves a bit of Oxford Street (ie not a million miles from M&S, Zara, selfridges and the Baker Street routes as opposed to using the main Marble Arch stand. Also had the advantage of serving the Marble Arch Station stop.

The mound is absolutely hilarious. Westminster are making cock-ups at every stage of this process.

Some observations from outside Selfridges westbound on Saturday evening at 8pm. Post 113 and 159 cutbacks. Central Line was closed west of Queensway. It is noticeable how few buses there were on Oxford Street now. You could be forgiven for thinking that buses don’t run down Oxford Street. Oxford Street busy with shoppers.
Routes 94, 98 and 139 running reliably westbound with decent loads, probably filling up more further west.
15min wait for first 390 and 25min wait for first 7. Nobody is going to wait that long to get to Victoria or Paddington stations. Those for Victoria would be better off walking to Marble Arch stop where they could pick up a 2 or a 13.
We have the worst of all worlds, no Crossrail, no pedestrians and very few buses. And they want to support a recovery?

Now that the 159 has been withdrawn between Oxford Circus and Marble Arch. Due to the fact that the N109 goes the way as the 159 between Oxford Circus and Streatham. I wonder why TfL didn't withdraw night service of the 159.

Is it only the daytime service of the 94 that’s being planned to be withdrawn between Marble Arch and Piccadilly Circus? Or is both the daytime and night service of the 94 being withdrawn between Marble Arch and Piccadilly Circus?
