Was in Queensbury tonight, saw a 614 non TFL bus standing at the station. I'm really not clued in on bus models and engineering facts, butthis looked really a modern vehicle. The internal lighting was really impressive, the whole vehicle looked sleek and cutting edge. Anyone know about these buses? Never been on that route, but that may have to change.

They are Alexander Dennis E40D MMC Citys - like the buses on the 26, 333 and 388. However the Uno ones are to a higher spec and are branded as "The Comet". There are some photos on Mr Fraser's rather excellent Flickr collection ---> www.flickr.com/photos/aecsouthall/

Thanks for those pictures. Yes they look really super. I looked at the timetable and it seems a decent service including evenings. Never been to Hatfield, must give it a go.
