Not a single drop of snow in sight here in Huddersfield...meanwhile I've heard Brighton have had really snow! Wish I was back home while it was snowing, could do with some more footage of trains arcing from the third rail... Yes Brighton suspended all services around 2200

Snowing, but roads clear... more of a dusting, as the earlier stuff melted. Carrying on through the day apparently

Plenty of snow here in Brixton & for a change, it's not the stuff you put up your nose either - really starting to settle as well. Definitely wouldn’t say it was plenty around the Brixton area. It was definitely enough to lightly coat the top of cars/wall ledges/some parts of grass etc. But most of the snow that did come down didn’t really settle around our area. I wouldn’t be surprised if places like Upper Norwood or Crystal Palace saw a bit more snow settle, giving their high geographical location in London. The other day when it did snow, whilst on the 468, only the South Norwood Hill-Knight’s Hill section of the route saw a light dusting a of snow starting to settle. The snow had instantly melted in other locations

I failed my first driving test as i had the sun straight in my eyes for a long time (only sunny day that week when it had been predicted to rain). Now I have my 2nd test tomorrow and don’t want to fail due to snow!!! Good luck with your driving test tomorrow. Is it the ordinary car driving test or for a bus PCV? As sid says if the snow is bad, the test may be cancelled. Just take it easy and concentrate and you'll be well on your way. Passed this time thankfully no snow but it rained very heavily on the north circular while I was on the test. Plus a white van jumped out in front of me at a roundabout which was quite ridiculous but otherwise all good!!!

The snow has gone - for now... www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6656491/Apocalypse-SNOW-hits-UK.htmlDaily Fail thinks the next lot is just outside SW London and heading north-east. Colleagues in Basingstoke said they'd been told to leave early due to blizzards, it's still trying to snow on and off in Tottenham now
